Same as title

This feels so disheartening reaching so close to one of the major crucial starting cutoff for T1 placements (8.5 for most companies) and still not making it by just little.

Trying best to cross 8.5 from past sems constantly increasing GPA but still ending up here hurts more than having a lesser GPA.

Every company keeping 8.5 will hurt now, all the efforts done now feels was it really worth it ..

All hopes now on destiny to see how it goes ..

college authorities said it will start from 10th Aug on the day of seat selection but some seniors are saying they always postpone that date, is it true?? i need to book hotel and flight tickets, should i plan keeping 10th aug as college start date or not??

Guys i currently have more than 24 credits of backlogs, and i failed to register for backlog exam, am i going to get a yearback??? or is there any way to earn credits??

If your CGPA was somewhere around 7 to 7.5 and you got placed through campus, I'd really appreciate hearing your experience. What worked in your favor, and what would you recommend juniors focus on?

I'm asking because I think this would really help pep who are feeling demotivated about their sgpa

Same as the title

So basically I am the only one doing work in my capstone group. Other 3 are just chilling. I complained to my mentor also but they worked for like 3 days and then went back to doing nothing. Same story.

I have placements going on, internship work on the side, and I also have a life to live. I genuinely cannot sit alone and build something that was supposed to be a 4 person project.

Initially the plan was really big. Phase 1 and 2 had some promises, paper publish and all that. But at this point I just want to submit something that works and get out. Even a B grade is fine, I am not even aiming for more.

So my question is can I just slightly reduce the scope of the project? Not fully change it, just cut some features or simplify things so one person can actually finish it? Or will that be a problem with the evaluators since we already submitted phase 1 and 2 docs?

Has anyone done this? How did you handle it? Did you talk to the guide directly or just submit and hope nobody notices?

Any advice would really help right now.

So im currently in ec campus cse and i think i have a good enough gpa to shift to RR cse , but im not sure if switching campuses is the right decision . I live in ecity so travelling is very easy for me , if i were to move to rr i would have to travel around 30 km one way which is why im reluctant to shift . What are the pros of shifting to rr campus ? does it have any effect on placements like ik the placements are combined but do the companies actually know ur campus because then there could be bias . Kindly help me make a decision

Applied for re-evaluation in few subjects and I am damn sure my grade could change, I mailed the coe and they replied that a "subject expert" has checked again after re-evaluation but no grade change, and I am skeptical about it, since ik I did much better than what I got, and ofcourse I can't afford to lose some grades every sem like ts, I am sure they haven't done anything coz if they would have genuinely done it would have increased

Any further steps to try to get grade changed or is it done and dusted?

Been building this over the sem. Started because I came across pesu-dash (attendance/results/timetable in one place) — cool idea, but closed source, so nobody could see how it worked or build on it. Decided to make an open version instead.

Is there any medical support room?

If I realistically know that, given my capabilities, I probably won't be able to graduate with a CGPA above 8.5, should I still put significant effort into maximizing my 8.13 CGPA from my current end of sem4 and getting as high as possible?

Or is it sufficient to simply maintain a CGPA above 8 and invest the extra time in skill development, projects, and interview preparation?

Do companies still internally prefer an 8.4 candidate over 8.1? Apart from skills and projects

I just wanted to put it somewhere.. I've been feeling very depressed since my results dropped. it was way lower than anything I was expecting and my cgpa barely crossed 7.5. I was looking forward to holidays but I'm feeling very down now. is my cgpa cooked? can seniors give me resources for sem 3 subjects. I'm ai ml. will it be hard to score good gpa in sem 3 now that our subjects are different. am I supposed to be feeling this shit about my gpa ? and the worst is i don't know how to tell my father about my grade

So i paid money and I got the printout of the form ....will they give a schedule or seating info for this or i should just go anyday and submit those documents and then do the review exact same day ..the info about this in the announcements are so unclear

AND WHAT CANCER ARE YOU GUYS CURING THAT YOU GUYS CANT EVEN RELEASE THAT AFTER RELATIVE GRADING WHAT ARE THE GRADE CUTOFFS . ITS NOT LIKE U ARE CONDUCTING EXAM FOR LAKHS OF STUDENTS ITS JUST 2000 STUDENTS WHOM U CAN EASILY CONTACT AND MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND
