If you knew what you know now about owning a Petkit Purobot (any model), would you buy it again?

Hi! My kitty has been using his puramax 2 for almost a week now and he seems to like it! (I do too!) I haven’t smelled anything until today (day 6) which led me to go ahead and empty the waste basket. I saw on the app that normally one cat households can go 15 days without a change but unless my kitty is a big shitter I don’t know how that’s possible! 😭 I also wipe it down with unscented disinfectant wipes and top off the litter to make sure it’s not dirty. (I use A&H unscented clumping litter.)

Was just wondering when others change their bags or if I’m doing something wrong :) Thanks!

We used to have a litter robot litterbox, but after a few years the cycling stopped working. Partner bought the Puramax Pro 2 after reading reviews online, and so far it’s been the worst new litterbox introduction experience for my cat in 10 years. I no longer have the old litter robot box because my partner got rid of it because it was broken. I think not having that around was the start of our problems. Then partner also gave her new litter pellets instead of the clay clumping stuff she used to have. Since we got it about 3 weeks ago, she peed and pooped on the floor in front of the litterbox or peed on cushions/mats on the floor after holding her pee for a while. We have switched the new pellet litter out for her old brand, we’ve used attractant in it, we’ve put her poop in it when she goes on the floor. Over the last few days, we’ve also turned off the light, smell thing, and made the cleaning cycle wait 20 minutes. If she goes on the floor, or if she peeks her head in the box too many times without going, over the last few days we’ve been shutting her up in her litterbox room with food and water. Sometimes she’ll poop and pee in there when we do that, but she cries for hours on end when she’s shut up like that, so I don’t want to just leave her there either for days. She’s also a chunkier cat, but she can fit in the box. I do think it’s smaller than her previous one though, and she also use to have steps on her litter robot that she doesn’t have on the puramax. I don’t know if those might be contributing factors, but I wanted to add! I don’t think she has medical things going on causing this because it only started with the new litterbox

I don’t really know what else to do with her, and I would appreciate suggestions!

Hey guys, I’ve just gotten a nine month old kitten and I’ve been trying to spoil her rotten. We did a lot of research and figured the Purobot Max Pro 2 sounded like the best option for an automatic litter box. We ordered it from amazon on Monday as it said it was in stock and would be delivered Wednesday. The issue I’m having is that it hasn’t even shipped yet and the delivery date just keeps getting pushed.

I also ordered some litter and the litter ramp at the same time. The litter ramp seems to be progressing. On the other hand I received an email notification that the litter was shipped but then immediately a separate email came in saying that a refund had been processed for it. Both of these items also said they were in stock when I purchased them.

Has anyone experienced something like this? Is this common? Does anyone know where I can get my hands on one? Should we have purchased from the website?

My boyfriend is suggesting we cancel the order and try to buy from somewhere else but I can’t seem to find anywhere that sells them. I was looking at their canadian website but figured that wouldn’t be any better since they don’t comment on stock. Maybe someone else knows how to navigate this better. I also realize that it’s only a few days since we ordered and maybe patience is required. I just know on their website it says in stock items will ship within 3 days so I would have thought the litter box would have shown as shipped already. Thanks for any insight guys.

Henry is a 12-13 week male kitten. We are currently waiting on delivery of the Puramax 2 and wondering what the best litter would be based on personal experiences. His standard box is Dr. Elsey’s kitten attract mixed with World’s Best Comfort Care unscented.
Ideally looking for odor control and low dust/trackability. I appreciate your insight!

I had recently purchased a new eversweet ultra for my 2 babies because i felt like they needed an upgrade from their old water bowl.

It’s been about 3 days since, my chubbier cat loves to drink from it but she prefers her old bowl instead and i feel awful removing her old bowl and just leaving the eversweet.

Is there anyway to kinda acclimate her to her new fountain? or is it just a trial and error and waiting, my other cat thats skinnier barely ever drinks from it and mostly hits the water in the fountain with her paw 😭😭z

Any ideas? Suggestions? I want the best for my kitties.

Finally I decided to get an automatic litterbox and I am debating between these two models (both premium version).

Given the price is the same for both, what would be the reason to pick one over the other? I am not familiar with all the intricacies and I am not sure what to pick.

Also, seems there is a 'premium' version for the purobot3 which has the ' the N50/N60 ammonia-neutralizing deodorizing module' while the regular one doesn't. Does it make a difference? Is it needed?

Between the Pettit Pura max pro 2.0 and the Purobot Ultra with camera, which one would you choose, if the price isn’t an issue ?

Do you have a recommendation ? Experiences ?

I’ve been using this box for one week with a 10 week old kitten. I went to empty the waste bin yesterday and noticed that the plastic of the waste bin itself seems to have absorbed a strong odor. We are using a tofu blend litter.

I’ve tried wiping the bin and lid down with vinegar and water solution but I can still smell the odor every time I walk by. Anyone else experienced this?

We got a PetKit Pura Max 2 a couple months ago for our 2 year old cat and it's been great. Have been using Cat's Best Litter with it which has been going OK, apart from her tracking a lot out when she leaves.

My parents found kittens in their garden last week so we are going to take one. I know that we are to use the kitten mode on the machine until they are about 6 months/weigh enough. We will just run the clean when we know the kitten is away from the machine.

What I am unsure about is what litter to use while we have a kitten. Apparently clumping litter isn't safe for kittens as they can eat it and it expands in their stomach. I searched here and it seems that only clumping litter is suggested for the PetKit.

I obviously don't want to go back to manual litter scooping when we only got the machine a couple months ago. We don't have a second litter box (the old manual one we had was a bit manky so we threw it out).

I am sure there are others who have been in this situation so if you have any advice please let me know.
