Anyone else tired of the refs trying to be the change agent in the games? In regular season, one of the Mercury-Sparks games, the refs made over 49 calls. The league is up 10 personal fouls a game over last year.

One playoff game ran over by an hour because of all calls. Just now, the GSV and Aces game, the game had less than 8 seconds left and it turned into the Refs game of free throw after free throw. I really don't want to see a game decided by a free throw.

Why is there such an increase in calls this year?

After missing the playoffs, Phoenix has some important decisions to make.

Should the Mercury prioritize bringing Plum back, even if it requires a major financial commitment? Or should they use that money to address multiple roster needs?
What contract length and salary would you be comfortable with?

I’m curious where everyone draws the line between keeping a proven scorer and building a more balanced roster.

Anyone else go? Tons of people.. Everyone was rushed thru, but I got a minute of convo with her. She seemed genuinely interested in the convo. I've met athletes and rock stars and sometimes they're as phony or distant as can be.. Really glad I got to go.
