Need help learning mould design from scratch – step by step
Hi everyone, I’m looking to properly learn plastic injection mould design, but I’m struggling to find a resource that teaches the whole process in a structured, practical way.
I’m not looking for just theory or random YouTube videos. I want to understand the complete workflow, from receiving a component/part → DFM → mould concept → parting line → core & cavity → sliders/lifters → cooling → ejection → mould base → detailing → drawings → BOM → manufacturing considerations.
If anyone has a course, book, YouTube channel, training material, or a step-by-step learning path that you genuinely recommend, I’d really appreciate it.
I’m especially interested in learning it the way it is actually done in industry, not just how to model a mould in CAD.
