Is it cheaters playing before ban wave? pro players pushing for some reason before reset?

I'm sitting at a fairly decent 1.7kd in duo, and most of the days experience is enjoyable, but for some reason I can barely fire a bullet before I get demolised by AUG X4, getting prefired from an angle that seems too perfect to be true and other superpowers on tuesday nights

Playing on EU servers

Anyone else has similar experience?

You need a discord account and to be in a voice channel/being able to see your own user.

You need to have your privacy setting saying "show activity".

This will allow you to see the data that discord gets from the pubg api.

Once you do these and join a game, if the countdown hasn't started, you can hover on your name and see the number of real players (100% real players).

Once the countdown start, the lobby starts to fill in with real players and bots. Real players can replace bots while the countdown is going (as per my experience).

e.g if you hover on your name and the countdown hasnt started and you see 80/80, it means there are 20 spots left to be filled in by either real players or bots.

How to know if you killed bots in a game or not.

Everyone has answered this question already; you go to the match history and check the players with bronze levels <100 bronze; if you press on them and you dont get a profile it means that was a bot.

External websites like pubglookup can also show you the amount of bots in your game and those that you're killing.

Final note, being in a bot lobby doesnt mean that you need to kill them.

you can just let your teammate do it, or completely rotate far from them (e.g lobby has 60 real players and 40 bots).

For new players who prefer to play casuals (where u have 88% bots), now is your lucky moment to enjoy the game, since there are many dead maps in the rotations where you can play against bots more than just 1hour

Hello there,

I’ve been playing PUBG since launch and never had performance this bad. Lately, I’m getting severe frame drops—from a steady 130 FPS down to 30-40 FPS—along with noticeable game lag.

What i find weird is that, my CPU (i9-9900K OC) is only at 40-55% load @60°C, and my GPU (RTX 3080 Ti, slight OC) is at 60-80% load @70°C (1000W corsair PSU). I’m running everything on High/Ultra, fullscreen, no V-Sync, no in-game FPS limit (only 60 FPS in menus) at 3440x1440.

The issues aren’t constant—they come and go—but when they hit, the game is unplayable. I’ve got 32GB RAM, so that shouldn’t be the bottleneck. This is on my main rig, and I’ve never seen it this bad before.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is this a known issue, or am I missing something obvious? Any help or insights would be appreciated.

I just started this game for the first time. Seems like 90 percent of the game is just being in the right part of the map or you die for being outside the safe zone. So...

1. How do you know where to parachute to at the beginning so you won't just be out of safe zone and die?

2. If you are far from the safe circle, is there any point in even trying to win? I spent 15 minutes just running north towards the safe zone and I died anyhow.

3. Are there any game modes where you can just enjoy the battles and not have to keep running into a shrinking circle?

If I choose the 1v4 option so I’m playing alone but everyone else is a team of four, does the matchmaking adjust for that so the other teams might be lower difficulty, or is it just the same opponent difficulty as if i had a team of four?
