Hey y'all, I am joining new @PwC. I have been understood that there's gonna be 8 days a month policy. But is it applicable in the first few months as a new joinee? will it look bad? Would you recommend attending office as much as possible in the first few months to understand things? Thank you
I recently received an email from PwC’s BGV partner asking me to submit a PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) as part of my joining formalities.
I’m confused about which service to select on the police portal. It shows options such as Character Certificate, Security Guard Character Certificate, and Police Clearance Certificate: Abroad.
Since this is for employment in India, I’m not sure which one is applicable. The Character Certificate application is also asking for a company address, but my exact PwC work location hasn’t been confirmed yet.
I’ve emailed the BGV contact for clarification but haven’t received a reply yet.
Has anyone recently gone through PwC BGV and been asked for a PCC? Which certificate/service did you apply for?
Also, anyone from Maharashtra facing the same issue?
Hey guys. I wanted to ask if anyone can help me out with this: https://in.steelcase.com/pages/employee-purchase-program
I recently had lower back issues due to an injury and I spend a lot of time sitting in front of my PC due to work so I would like to get a good ergonomic chair.
I'm posting in this sub because apparently Accenture employees get a good discount for Steelcase Leap V2.
I request the mods to kindly not delete this post 🙏
I recently received an offer letter from PwC AC for UK practise consulting, due to join in Oct. But I am given Bangalore location, while I cannot move out of Gurugram location due to personal reasons. Is it possible to change the location to Gurugram as base location? If yes, please suggest how?

Hey, I'm joining PwC India as a Senior Associate in Advisory, working in GenAI.
Could anyone from PwC Advisory/GenAI tell me what I should really expect about:
Does it depend on the team/manager/project?
Typical working hours and workload? How frwquent do late nights/weekends happen?
Is WLB manageable as a Senior Associate?
I'd really appreciate it if someone could answer these questions.
Hi, I’m an Engineer + Masters in Management (from the US) and 2 years of Consulting work experience from the US. And 5 years of total work experience. I want to know the range or a ball park please because I’ve moved back from the US and I’m really unsure about the pay scale here. I quoted a range of 25-30 LPA (which is a purchasing power equivalent of my US salary here) but they said it was way above their budget and won’t be able to proceed with it and asked me to rethink and get back with my lowest number possible to see if it’s even possible to proceed. Can you help me with a realistic range and not a lowball (because I have financial obligations). Role is client facing, strategy related & part of their advisory group.
P.S - please don’t be mean I’m just new to the consulting market here!
I gave the interview in January and received the welcome mail too and pre-onboarding courses too in march. I finished my graduation 2 months ago and now am awaiting my OL. I just checked the superset platform and it's showing an additional section of 'documents and certifications' which it wasn't showing until 2 days ago. It doesn't really contain anything tho apart from 'no objection certificate'. Could any of this mean anything? Also, those who are joining for this same role, can you please confirm if you noticed any of this too?
Title: PwC AC India remote employee being asked to come to office, but only 4 locations allowed — what happens if I can’t?
I work for PwC AC India and have been a remote employee. Yesterday, an Assurance Partner sent an email to all Assurance employees saying that remote employees are now expected to come to the office twice a week.
I actually don’t have an issue with going to the office. My problem is the locations I’m being asked to choose from.
I have been told that, as a remote employee, I can only report to Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad or Gurugram. Mumbai is apparently not an option.
The problem is that my husband is moving to Mumbai for his job, and I was planning to relocate there as well. I specifically checked with HR about working from the PwC AC Mumbai office, and I was told that doing so would make me “non-compliant”, even though I would physically be working from a PwC office.
Now we’ve been told that the attendance consequences are roughly:
75%+ attendance → no issue
Below 75% → bonus gets impacted/cut
So my question is: what can PwC actually do if I don’t meet the attendance requirement because I am living in Mumbai and cannot realistically travel to Kolkata/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Gurugram twice a week?
My work is completely unaffected by where I physically sit. I work remotely with no client-facing requirement that depends on my physical location, and productivity/output would remain the same.
I’m not trying to avoid working from office. I’m willing to go to the Mumbai PwC office twice a week, but HR says that would still be non-compliant because Mumbai isn’t one of the four permitted locations.
Has anyone at PwC AC India dealt with something similar? What happens in practice if someone consistently falls below the attendance threshold? Is it only a bonus impact, or can it eventually lead to disciplinary action/performance issues?
Would especially appreciate answers from people currently in PwC AC Assurance rather than general WFO experiences.
For context, I’ve seen other PwC employees discussing 8 days/month and attendance-linked bonus consequences, but I’m trying to understand what happens when the issue isn’t unwillingness to attend office, but the company not allowing attendance from the city where you’re actually living.
Please help me out
I(F26) am about to start a full-time corporate job at PwC, and my employment contract has an exclusivity clause saying that I cannot engage in any other trade, business, or occupation without prior permission from the company.
I have been doing academic tutoring/freelance tutoring on the side, mainly helping students with subjects like economics/statistics. It is completely unrelated to my main job and would be done outside working hours.
I’m trying to figure out the best way to handle this.
A few questions:
I’m not looking to hide the income or employment from the company. I just want to understand the safest way to do this while complying with my employment contract.
Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation.
Can anyone share what's the allowance per day (or where can I check) for all designation of employees both in domestic and international on-site projects.
Hi everyone, I recently joined PwC India and heard that we have a fitness/wellness program with Cult.fit.
Does anyone know how to avail the Cult.fit membership/discount through PwC? Is there a portal, corporate link, or any specific process to register?
Also, if anyone is currently using the benefit, could you please share the process and what kind of discount/membership we get?
Thanks!
