FFB for Forza horizon 6

Can someone provide the best ffb settings for FH6. I have the pxn vd4 and I want to know when my car is losing grip and has grip as that's what I'm struggling with the most. :(

PXN VD6 interacting with pedals limits fps below 60 in Forza horizon 6

I am not sure why no one is mentioning this but there is a big issue with pxn wheels where interacting with wheel or pedals drop fps below 60. I am getting 100 fps on extreme 1440p when playing with controller but using wheel drops fps. From my research this must be fixed from PXN side but there are no updates from them. I don't think it will do your marketing much good as people like me would hesitate to recommend and buy your products in future. Moza has already fixed this issue with their new firmware.

I made a SimHub plugin to control the PXN V12 Lite LED bar using game RPM telemetry

Hey everyone,

I’ve been messing around with the PXN V12 Lite wheel and wanted to make the built-in LED bar actually useful in games through SimHub.

After a bit of USB/HID packet digging, I managed to get the wheel’s LEDs working with live RPM telemetry. I turned it into a small SimHub plugin.

Current features:

RPM-based LED bar
Green/orange/red RPM zones
Limiter flashing
Custom limiter colour, including purple/custom RGB
Adjustable limiter LED count
Brightness control
Reverse LED order
RPM smoothing
Fallback max RPM
HID scan for VID/PID
Idle modes, including individual LED control
Settings panel inside SimHub

The limiter logic is set up as a hard override, so when the limiter hits, the normal RPM LEDs stop and only the limiter flash runs. That avoids the messy overlap where green/orange RPM LEDs keep showing under the flashing limiter.

Tested on my PXN V12 Lite:

VID: 0x11FF
PID: 0x1112
Packet header: 64 41 E0 02
Visible LEDs: 10

It is still early and unofficial, so other PXN firmware versions might behave slightly differently. I added a HID scan option so people can check their own wheel details.

Would love feedback from anyone else using a PXN V12 Lite with SimHub. If someone can test it on another unit, that would help heaps.

I've just ordered the VD6 bundle with the standard round W AS wheel.

I saw PXN sell a GT style wheel mod for a different wheel. Anything similar for the W AS?

VD series support for Forza Horizon 6

I want to ask, Is PXN VD series supported in forza horzion 6 because I want to buy the game. I haven’t yet bought it because I haven’t found any post/video about it. I don’t want to buy the game rn and wait for it to work after months. I am really excited for the game and want to experience it with my PXN VD4.

UPDATE: My PXN VD4 is working. The game automatically detected it and the ffb worked right out of the box. You just have to bind the wheel controls.

FH6 V12 lite getting axis 6 in control mapping

I can't map anything to anything because as soon as I click the beyond to start binding, the game auto fills with "device 1: axis 6"

PXN V10 Ultra & A7 Shifter issues (FPS drop / FFB turns off) - FH6

Hey everyone, I'm having two very specific and annoying issues with my wheel setup in Forza Horizon 6 and I wanted to check if anyone has a fix.

My Setup: PXN V10 Ultra steering wheel + PXN A7 Shifter (connected via USB).

Bug 1 (The Wheel): When I play with just the steering wheel connected, I get a massive 40 to 50 FPS drop and constant stuttering compared to playing with a regular controller.

Bug 2 (The Shifter): The moment I plug in the PXN A7 Shifter via USB, the Force Feedback completely turns off.

So basically, if I use the wheel alone the performance goes to trash, and if I connect the shifter, the FFB dies. Has anyone encountered these bugs with this PXN combo? Any workarounds?

PXN VD4 long term feedback.

I’m looking to buy the VD4 next week. I would’ve gone for the Moza R3 but the price difference between the two in my country is unjustified.

Looking at you, people that own their VD4 for more than a month let’s say. How’s your experience with if? Any hardware / software issues? Weird noises or anything? I already returned a V10 Ultra because it wouldn’t turn on. But from my understanding the VD4 should be higher quality.

Which cockpit do you use on VD6 wheel base?

Just got my VD6 Bundle (first wheel in many years) and mounted it to my table and pedals on the floor.

The wheel base claps doesn't clap probably on my table it slides on my table and I can only hit the pedal on the top of them without it Lifting from the floor.

So I am looking after a cockpit (budget) where there is a seat included. I have looked at NL Racing GT Racer v2 but not sure yet. any tips on cockpits?

Need help understanding PXN wheel settings + RPM lights setup (VD6 bundle)

Hey everyone,

I recently got the PXN wheel with the VD6 bundle, and I’m trying to better understand how to properly configure the settings depending on the game I’m playing.

A few things I’d like help with:

Is there a good way to learn which wheel settings should be adjusted for different games? (FFB strength, damping, rotation angle, vibration, etc.)
Is there any website, community spreadsheet, Discord, or database where people share recommended presets/settings for specific games? I know the PXN software has built-in presets, but I’m wondering if there are better community-made ones.
Also, I can’t seem to get the RPM lights on the steering wheel working correctly. So far I’ve tried:
- Le Mans Ultimate
- Dirt Rally 2.0

Do I need additional software, telemetry setup, or specific game settings enabled?

Can i use a PXN A9 wheel stand on the moza r3?

So, i'm thinking about buying a wheel stand to use my r3, i use on my desk rn.
i found this model PXN A9 but in the website it says that dosen't have support to moza r3 because of the holes not matching the base screws, but i can use it with the clamps.

but it will handle the r3 or you guys think this will vibrate too much? this it the cheapest i can get where i live
