Not sure if this is the right way or place to ask, but I was wondering if anyone knows a sai 2brush (or the textures to make it) that looks similar to the one used in Fields of Mistria's concept art? Its a really good looking brush and anything helps!! pleaaaase!!!!
Hi! I'm Victor, and I've been working as a video game concept artist for 10 years. About two years ago, I created this bee dragon to see where my skills stood; I had an hour and a half to finish it, and this was the best I could do. Recently, I decided to recreate it in the same amount of time and using the same software—this was the result. I think I like both of them! There are things I prefer about one and things I prefer about the other, but I feel like there’s been some improvement—what do you guys think?
So I just noticed the 3 Scatter Parameters while going through my Brush Settings and Asset Manager and could someone explain to me what these are for? I tried messing around with them but I'm still kinda confused. If they're anything useful I'd like to be able to make use of them if ever possible

I use Sai from 2015 and still use it, think it the best drawing engine app. When Koji added scatters it busts me a lot. I am still learning some tricks and can find new for myself, yeee ❤
I've seen several people asking in threads how to access Dark Mode, and the "Lasso Fill tool" and getting no answers.
1: If you got the update and it wasn't accessible in the "Right Click" Area of the brush gallery redownload it and reinstall it that fixed it for me.
Here you go for everyone asking and getting no answers, again this is how I got it solved to A.) show up and where it's located.
If I press the Shift key, the transformation locks instead of scaling the image proportionally.
I've used Sai 2 for about 10 years, and I've just realized now that one common feature this program doesn't have... There's no [Invert Color].
I know getting something like that is way out Koji's mind atm. Especially with the big beautiful update recently and the constant bug fixes. I just think that it's odd that it doesn't have it. It would be nice if in a year or two from now we get it somehow. Maybe by that time we will have more filter options and blur options, but I am pretty content with the current state of Sai 2.
I've never been more motivated to draw with this program than now and I look forward to future.
Hi, I wanted to draw in Paint Tool SAI, but for some reason it doesn’t detect pen pressure, even though everything seems to be set up correctly. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

We have been unable to reproduce this issue, and the cause remains unknown. Based on the information available so far, it appears to occur with specific fonts. We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide any information regarding the conditions under which this occurs.
Character positioning is incorrect in vertical writing with certain fonts.
We plan to include the fix as part of the CFF font implementation work.
Parts of an image may go missing unnoticed while editing.
Work recovery may fail midway through the process.
Layers may appear blank when loading a saved canvas.
At this point, we suspect it may have been a side effect of another issue.
An issue classified as a current specification rather than a bug.

At present, CFF (Compact Font Format) fonts are not supported. I plan to implement CFF font support once the bug fixes for the major renovation version currently underway have stabilized.
I've been a bit struggling with my lineart for the longest time, but figured my way. Made this brush for something else innitially, but started to line with it on accident and loved the result. It's probably nothing outstanding but maybe some might find it helpful. Enjoy!

[View]: A warning about drawing on an invisible layer appears repeatedly when dragging with a pen. (Apologies; this bug was introduced in the 2026-08-05 version.)
[Merge Layers]: Disabling the paper texture setting is not correctly reflected on the control panel.
[Magic Wand type tools]: Multiple "Internal state inconsistency" error pop-ups appear under certain conditions.
[Lasso type tools]: The opacity of the reference color in "Similar Color" mode affects the selection in "Transparent Area" mode.
[Text tool]: Dragging to adjust font size or line gap values does not work correctly when the printing resolution is not 72 ppi.
[Effect Pen/Scatter tools]: An access violation occurs when used on a grayscale canvas.
[Effect Pen/Scatter tools]: The drawing color is not applied correctly on a grayscale canvas.

No cabe duda que paint tool sai se convirtió en mi programa mega favorito para dibujar.
Si me llegarán a preguntar, Paintool sai e Infinite Painter son uno de los mejores apps/programas que me he encontrado.
Se podría decir que ya he probado cada aplicación y programas que existe para dibujar (Menos las de apple, claro)
IbisPaintX, Medibang, SketchBook, FireAlpaca, Krita e inclusive ClipStudio (La razón por la cual no me convenció es que su interfaz es demasiado tosca y los pinceles no me gustan)
Y la verdad siento que Paintool tiene mucho potencial para explicarle, por eso me gustaría saber si el creador de este programa planea agregar más cosas a futuro.
Talvez interfaz para animación, opción para hacer viñetas más fáciles a la hora de hacer cómics, ventanas de referencia, la opción de "Licuar" o los famosos filtros (Me serviría mucho cuando quiero quitarle las líneas a un dibujo).
I usually do this via PS, the file is already a working bristle, but i want to change it - opened in SAI, changed - tried to create new bristle but the buttons are greyed out
