These shots are insane something for the history books. Can we just talk bout the first picture an artist and his muse??? I love this I love that she is not wearing the usual bodycon maxi dresses actresses wear. She is genuinely representing pakistan and its fashion….

In order:

2. Jamawar two-piece set worn over white shirt is by Mazil.

3. Jersey crafted from discarded cigarette filters used in the film is by Pashma.

4. Handworked outfit from Baloch mother-daughter duo from Lyari, Maahnum’s Doch

5. Sherwani style top worn with embellished farshi shalwar is by Humayun Alamgir. Worn with Sindhi topi.

I appreciate the intentionality and concept behind the styling and outfits. The execution may have faltered sometimes but the fact that it has prompted a discussion is a success in itself I think.

Love the little hint of green. Hate the fit of the pants.
