📣 Announcement: Introducing your new mods + new rules on European club football, jersey posts and custom flairs!

Please welcome our two new mods u/BadtameezMunda and u/Temporary-Falcon-388 !!!

We also have some new rules that we feel can keep the sub engaging:

  1. Posts on European club football are now allowed, however such posts will not be allowed during or in the lead up to national team matches as they would undermine the topic of the subreddit (exceptions apply to Champions League/ World Cup)

  2. Jersey posts are allowed, However no self promotion posts will be approved without prior approval from mods.

Also, you can now have custom flairs!!

PS: we are almost 4000 members now, without any kind of domestic league or regular national team matches 👏

Pakistan squad for June friendlies against Maldives, Afghanistan and Bangladesh; Return of Captain Easah Suliman after 2 years post ACL, debuts for Ali Khan and Adil Nabi on the cards, thoughts?

It's a strong line up, this squad definitely has the ability to win 3/3 but Solano has made tactical blunders.

This Pakistan Afghanistan rivalry tho 🔥 3rd match in 8 months with first two being draws and controversial visa issues, match forfeit threats, in game fights and not playing their national anthem 😭😂

Layla Banaras 🐐🐐🐐

if anyone is interested in following layla's career, please follow my insta page https://www.instagram.com/the.layla.archive?utm_source=qr&igsh=amJ4dTR3bGgxd2Rv . have uploaded a few comps of her so far from the fifa series and asian cup qualifiers and will be uploading many more regularly In Sha Allah from next season onwards when she resumes playing club football. love her playing style. her press resistance, ball carrying and playmaker abilities. sm talent there. goal of this account is to display her talent and get as many pakistani's and those who generally like football interested in this baller and in turn pakistan women's football as it is talked about very less since most of our focus is on cricket (where we're still shit btw 🫠). really excited to document her career through match comps. hope it gets a lot of attraction among our people.

Football App advice

Hi Guys,

This is the current look of the app, if you guys have any advice or things to change please feel free to share them. Unfortunately the Api im using doesn't let me have live stats for the player profile so instead what ive decided to do is take the previous completed season and add that to the profiles and then as soon as the season changes so will the profile stats. Im really in two minds about launching the app on google play due to the sheer amount of admin work so any advice will be appreciated.

insha'Allah If i do launch it on google play store it obviously will be free and hopefully before if not during the jubilee tournament Pakistan are playing June 1-10.

Pakistan Football App

Hi All,

Ive been working on an FotMob/sofascore style app as an assignment for University but made it exclusive to following Pakistan Football. Its far from finished but I thought Id ask the reddit for any advice on stuff to add and also I wanted to ask if you guys would think thered be any demand for something like this as I might end up releasing it for free on the app store.

Note: a lot of the data like player statistics or the highlight page on the home screen feature fake/filler data as the app is unfinished.

Any advice would be appreciated. Hopefully ill have a finished app in the next couple months or so.

Wang Xiao He — The Coach Behind Pakistan’s South Asian Games Golds

Wang Xiaohe has been one of the most successful coaches in the history of the Pakistan national football team, and arguably the most successful so far.

First arriving through Chinese foreign aid before the 1989 South Asian Games, he guided Pakistan to the gold medal that year, the country’s first major official international football title in decades since the 1952 Quadrangular Tournament.

He later became associated with Pakistan Army FC and returned to coach Pakistan again in 2003. Under his leadership, Pakistan’s U23 side won another South Asian Games gold medal in 2004, after the tournament had switched to an under-23 format.

During his career, Wang also coached in China with teams such as Bayi Football Team and Xi’an Anxinyuan, while remaining closely connected to football in Pakistan for many years.

Franchise or Traditional League?

Should Pakistan install a franchise league or a traditional league as it's top division? For example, a franchise league provides stability and controlled long term investment while for example, a traditional league provides unpredictability and merit based competition. In your opinion, which is the better option for the top division of Pakistan Football?

Off topic - Looking for volunteer admin for Football FB page

Salam all,

Running a growing Facebook page covering football news, highlights, transfers, memes, basically all things football. Looking for a volunteer admin who lives and breathes the game.

I'm preferably looking for somebody young (student) who can post 5 to 6 times/day (news, match updates, videos, reels, engaging content), engage with followers and remain active for min 6 hours/day. He/she should have good football knowledge, what content clicks, basic editing and consistently.

This is an unpaid volunteer gig.

If interested please send me a DM.

Thanks.
