Looking to Buy Sony WH-1000XM4

Visited the Sony Center but they don't carry the XM4, the guy there kept pushing me towards the ULT Wear, but after doing my research I'm not willing to compromise. The XM4 has better noise cancellation, fits my budget, and is exactly what I want.

The problem is, most stores are either out of stock, untrustworthy, or listing it way above 70k which is just not happening.

If anyone knows a reliable place to buys these, please drop it below.

Which laptop would you suggest under 25k?

Assalamioalaikum
I mainly need it for taking Zoom classes, so it should have a built-in camera and work smoothly while screen sharing. I’ll be using it for around 7 hours a day, so I need something reliable that won’t lag, hang, or shut down in the middle of classes. Any good recommendations?

Is OLX worth it to buy used phones?

Every now and then I come across people posting good used phones at a reasonable price on OLX but i have heard from family and friends that OLX is mostly a scam so I am writing to ask if taking a risk with OLX is worth it?

Which Kindle should I buy and where from?

Thinking about getting a Kindle but not sure which one to get.

Mainly want it for reading books/PDFs and something comfortable for long reading sessions. Is the basic Kindle enough, or is the Paperwhite worth the extra money?

Also, where do people usually get them from? Is ordering online fine, or are there physical stores that trade Kindles?

Which local bank has a decent desktop banking website?

I've accounts in Meezan and HBL right now.

Problem is, Meezan's desktop website is broken. Log in often a PITA as I've to input my username/password several times to get logged in. No idea why that's the case but it is what it is.

And HBL has recently killed their desktop website. Their garbage mobile app is the only way a user can do online banking.

I'm done with local banks.

Now, I'm thinking about opening an account at Standard Chartered as it's a multinational bank and from what I've heard, they have an excellent app and desktop website.

But I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Dawlance vs Haier vs Gree?

Hey guys, looking for a new AC in Lahore.

We currently have a Dawlance Enercon (front black glass model) 1.5 ton inverter. Just for context, 1.5 ton is more than enough for this room — we even had an old Mitsubishi 1 ton before this and it worked great.

Got the Dawlance around 2021 brand new, but it’s been using more electricity than expected. In 2023 a Dawlance technician checked it and mentioned the PCB might need repair, though he didn’t seem fully sure, so we ignored it. Last year it also developed a leak after we used the heating mode for the first time in years and got that fixed.

This is a regular model, not a T3, and last night I noticed the cooling was pretty weak even on Turbo mode.

Now I’m considering either:

- Haier 1.5 ton Solar AC (the one that comes with plates)

- Gree T3 model (new 2026 variant, my uncle recently got one)

A lot of people keep saying Gree is the best and more energy efficient than Dawlance or Haier. I can also get a Dawlance Atmos T3 for around 50k less than the Gree though.

So I wanted to ask:

- Is Gree actually noticeably more energy efficient?

- How’s the long-term reliability and electricity usage?

- Any experiences with the Haier Solar AC without a full solar setup?

Would love to hear real experiences, especially from Lahore heat users.

Bought it. (s25 cpid)

Bought the s25 (cpid) for 170k with box and all its accessories like the quick start guide, sim ejector tool, 2m long type-c to c cable and optional, bought a case with it from the same shop for 1k. Thoroughly checked everything on the phone and all the stuff with it. All Samsung apps like wallet, secure folder, pass, nfc, etc. Are working like usual with no differences. All ota updates are working, and signal stability is great. I fully factory reset the phone, updated everything, and set up my accounts. Some person was saying in the last post I made " get from HF it's listed there for 155k." I bought the phone from HF, and in total, it cost me 170k (with the tax included and the cover). The guy who said it's listed there for 155k was wrong because it was listed there for 165k (without the tax, which was 4k, and with 1k of the case included, it cost me 170k as I expected). Great phone overall, I don't change phones a lot, upgrading after 6 years of using Samsung A51. Also already had all the accessories like the 25w Samsung charger (obviously original) and the buds 2, so, no worries about the compatibility issues.

esIM for Non PTA phones

Hi All,

I saw an ad on facebook about an esim provider. They claimed that there esim will work flawlessly (for data only) for any non pta phones. I explicitly asked if it will work after 2 months, and they said yes, the phone needs to be factory unlocked and not JV etc.

Is it possible? i can mention the name and their msg also but not sure if it will violate this reddit policy. Please advise

Is Samsung S26 Ultra PTA Approved on official samsung website and daraz flagship store?

While s25 ultra and other models explicitly mention PTA approved, there is no such information on the S26 models on both samsung.com and daraz flagship store

Looking for a phone between 50K-70K for my father

He doesn't change his phone for 2-3 years, so I need a reliable phone. He's been talking a lot about 5G recently, so I'd ideally want to get him a 5G phone. Since I am gifting it to him, I would want to get either new, or good quality refurbished (with box etc.)

Right now, I was considering Galaxy S21 5G in refurbished, or Tecno Camon 40 Pro in new. Any suggestions? Also tell good price for whichever phone you suggest. Thank you.

I have shortlisted few options in my budget: vivo v60 lite 5G, vivo v40e and realme 15T. REalme 15T is last choice because of the camera.
Problem is these mobiles are short in market except realme, so does anyone know where I can find the others in boxed packed condition? I'm in Karachi
