About seven years ago, Dmitry showed a T3 running Palm OS 6: https://www.reddit.com/r/Palm/comments/cjx9d9/palmos_61_cobalt_on_a_tt3/ A few months later, someone asked: "Is there a way to run PalmOS Cobalt on a real device?" u/gruberkristof: Today the answer is yes!

Now it boots on my Tungsten T3, loaded from an SD card into RAM. The flash is never touched, and a reset brings back Palm OS 5.

Try it yourself. You need:

• a Tungsten T3 with its original Palm OS 5
• an SD card between 32 MB and 1 GB, with a single FAT partition
• Cocoboot and the Cobalt ROM image, both on palmdb.net
• Python 3 on any computer

A small script builds the boot file. You copy it to the card, start Cocoboot and tap "Boot!". After about 40 seconds, Cobalt greets you with its setup.

Not working yet: SD card, Bluetooth and power off. Your T3 will also show the device ID and Bluetooth address of the T3 the ROM came from. Back up your data first, because Cobalt overwrites the RAM. And as always: at your own risk.

Hello my new favorite subreddit. I first want to ask about a case - the Otterbox 1900 - I found. It says universal, but I mostly see most being advertised with pocket PC devices, and I wonder if it can be used with my m505. Also (the last image), I found an interesting case in an old pen computing magazine that I’ve been trying to find on eBay. No luck so far. So if anyone has tips that would be nice.
