As far as Im aware is official concept art, but I don't know where it originated from. I just love the style of it and would love to know more about the artist.

I’m not a fan of the show, but I want to give a quick update for you all. The 4th trigger project will be Hiroyuki Imaishi final project before retirement. The next season will probably be announced next year.

Most of the picks are pure vibe, others have a certain logic. I also gave a starter each, for aesthetics.

Here we have the concept art for Panty and Stocking from the detective themed episode, where the two sisters investigate a series of murders. As you can see, the outfits designed by Studio Trigger’s art team were far more revealing than what ultimately appeared in the show. In fact, the series director, Hiroyuki Imaishi, was completely on board with these designs, even though the two looked less like police officers and more like nightclub strippers.
The reason these concepts were ultimately abandoned is actually pretty interesting. According to Imaishi, Stocking hates showing off her panties, unlike her sister. For those unfamiliar with the character, Stocking is not a sex obsessed troublemaker like Panty. She’s much more reserved and dislikes revealing her underwear because she’s a little self conscious about her body. According to the series creator, Hiroyuki Imaishi, she worries about her weight after constantly indulging in cakes and sweets, she dosent like to show her flabby body, and that was ultimately why this version of the designs never made it into the episode.
Even so, the concept itself looked fantastic. Panty would have worn a miniskirt, a corset, and fishnet stockings, while Stocking was designed with a gothic emo inspired outfit featuring underwear decorated with a small skull motif. Unfortunately, these designs never made it past the concept stage and remained nothing more than artwork on paper just exactly as this way…

I pre-ordered it at the beginning of the year. They assured me that, due to so many trade conflicts, it could take until Christmas 2026, but it finally arrived unexpectedly (I've checked the figure; it's perfect, but to keep it dust-free, I'm leaving it in the box until I get a display case).

I'm not much of a figure collector, especially with the prices of recent years... but since I hadn't had the opportunity before, and now P&S has a better reputation, it's easier to find original products at a good price. Why did I choose she? It's simply my favorite boat.
