New Family Cargo Bike Shop

Hi everyone!

I'm a local parent and one of the folks behind whee!, a new family cargo bike shop on 11th Street. We focus on family cargo bikes from Aventon, Urban Arrow, and Bunch (the kind that can actually replace a car for school runs, grocery hauls, and other adventures in Brooklyn) plus tune-ups and repairs for whatever you're already riding.

I'm here to chat if anyone has cargo bike questions and I'm a certified by the League of American Cyclists to teach kids and adults how to ride. There's a lot of confusing info out there about e-bike classes (we only sell class 1 and 2, max speed of 20mph), storage (insurance, a cover and a lock work surprisingly well), and batteries.

We're also doing test rides if you want to see what hauling two kids up the slope actually feels like.

Really glad to be part of the neighborhood and loving the block parties. Hope to see some of you around.

Richard Nixon missing

Hi,

Its Richard Nixon‘s mom - he didn’t come home yesterday and I haven’t gotten a call. If anyone has seen him wondering around Park Slope please call me 9735256726.

Thank you!!!!!

New Family Cargo Bike Shop!

Hi everyone!

I'm a local parent and one of the folks behind whee!, a new family cargo bike shop on 11th Street. We focus on family cargo bikes from Aventon, Urban Arrow, and Bunch trikes (the kind that can actually replace a car for school runs, grocery hauls, and other adventures in Brooklyn) plus tune-ups and repairs for whatever you're already riding.

We're also doing test rides if you want to see what hauling two (or three or four!) kids up the slope actually feels like.

P.S. I also organized PS11's Family Bike Day in Clinton Hill and would love to be a sounding board for anyone who wants to do something similar in their neighborhood / school.

7th Avenue Fair

Just wanted to post these. It's nice to see the neighborhood outside along with so many businesses and people as well, many of them locals, many people visiting. The fair gives me a lot of nostalgia from my childhood.
