Do you guys think will nerf ITF mageblood farm in 3.29?
I don't think I can go back to not having a mageblood and it will always be worth the grind. I do not think GGG devs conscider having MB being deterministically farmable as part of their vision and will probably give it the crimson temple treatment where its not feasible to farm div cards from there anymore. I think it should stay because the Syndicate rewards are very lackluster and everything is replacable and I don't see myself interacting with syndicate unless I need veiled currency which doesn't need much setup to acquite. Yeah I wouldn't touch syndicate if that happened.
How did these builds level so much quicker than the rest of ssf ladder?
I was browsing ssf starters on poe.ninja and this seemed interesting to me. Is there some strat involving chieftain explosion + ignite prolif going on or these guys just played a ton?
How do you guys survive leagues without a good source of scarabs?
This was my first league playing ssf and I'm hoping to do it again next league, but I dont know what I would do without the strongbox strat. Do you just run strats alch and go 95% of the time? Seems depressing
I'm really hoping they either increase scarab drop rates across the board, or add a replacement source when mirage is deleted
How to farm Incandescent Invitation Fast?
I want get as many Incandescent Invitation as I can to farm Dissolution of the Flesh.
But I get can 1 Incandescent Invitation every 28 maps.
Anything can speed up the farming?
Thanks.
Looking for speedruns/2stone or more
Looking to find out if theres any channels or videos out there on youtube or twitch where they do 2 stone runs in a ssf enviroment, either this or if there was any races in the last year where the goal was in a SSF enviroment to see progression as im just curious what sort of strats/builds people ran to maybe find some inspiration for next league
i understand builds from a year ago or strats may be different but ill be able to check the patch notes or whatever to check any changes
edit: Thanks to those who commented i've got a few names that im looking at videos for and vods from so thank you :)

My ITF farm data
Hi, i just wanted to share my ITF Farm data.
For the first Card i dont have the Map count because i didn't even know the Card existed. I was just progressing and when i heard about the Card i started setting up my Board.
Safehouse Setup was 5-5-2-2 and i only did the Intervention Safehouse. I always skipped the Research encounter in Maps.
I got extremely lucky on the last 3 Cards.
Map count for the following Cards was:
2nd: 404 Maps
3rd: 396 Maps
4th: 402 Maps
5th: 559 Maps
6th: 13 Maps
7th: 27 Maps
8th: 8 Maps
In summary for Card 2-8 it took me 1809 Maps.
How to farm a Mageblood from nothing in SSF
Hey guys, I farmed 8 Eye of terror divination cards in about 24 hours in SSF Ancestors, so I thought about sharing exactly how I did it so that others looking to play with a mageblood can replicate it.
The strat has been mentioned already a couple of times and it's very simple, it's all about doing Syndicate and interacting with It that fled. Any time you execute/bargain/interrogate ITF there's a small chance they drop a card.
The only thing that matters for this strat is ITF interactions per hour, I farmed all cards in less than 400 maps, which is definetly on the luckier side. I believe the drop to be 1 card per 50-75 interactions.
Farming cycle:
The farming is simple and quick, enter map (i did it on city square), do all 3 encounters (research, intervention, fortification/transportation), leave and repeat. I did this farm in scoured maps because it makes it faster and the card is not affected by quantity.
Board setup:
We want 4 people in transport/fortification, 2 in research (one of them being Janus) and 2 in intervention (one of them being ITF).
We want Janus because Cadiro can just straight up offer you a MB or other valuable uniques. ITF in intervention in the non leader spot.
As for relationships, we only want rivalries between ITF and everyone else, so that ITF shows up in other encounters more commonly. Everyone else should be neutral with one another.
ITF is not in the syndicate by default in a new league, so the process to get to this board is as follows:
-Remove people from the syndicate until ITF shows up (took me 2 tries, but I believe it's rng). To do this you leave people with 0 stars for last when you do an encounter, sometimes they'll ask to leave the syndicate, repeat until ITF is recruited.
-While doing the previous step, you should already be prepping the board as mentioned earlier (4 people in trans/fort, 2 research/interv).
-Once you have the setup with ITF in intervention as non leader, you can start building the rivalries. You do this by leaving ITF last everytime you encounter them, sometimes you are offered the option to betray someone else and create a rivalry.
You repeat this process until all or most other members have a red line with ITF.
Other things to mention:
The only safehouse we ever do is research and only because of Janus, don't bother doing any other safehouse.
I'm not sure whether the card is drop restricted by lvl or not, but just for the record all my cards dropped from ITF in a T16 map.
How to fix certain mistakes:
There's a couple things we might do that are a bit detrimental but all of them are fixable.
You created a friendship/rivalry between 2 people not involving ITF:
Don't worry this is not even that big of a deal, it can be undone by simply following the cycle of relationship, it goes from neutral-friend-rival-neutral. I also don't believe this affects the strat much as long as you don't have many of them.
You made ITF the intervention leader:
Simple to fix, just wait for ITF to show up in any encounter (should be easy if you have rivalries) and interrogate them. This will force the other intervention member to become the leader and put ITF as a member.
You removed one of ITF rivalries by making them neutral:
Same as before you follow the cycle and make them rivals again.
You removed someone from the syndicate that is not ITF:
Not a big deal, just put the new member where the older member was and try to build a rivalry with ITF. If you removed the other intervention member, you have to put ITF back as a member by interrogating them and making the new member the leader.
You removed all rivalries:
This is bad but no the end of the world, just have to start building the rivalries again. This will nerf the strat a bit for while as you build them up again.
You removed ITF from the syndicate:
Really bad, you are basically at the very begining of the board building process. The silver lining is at least the board is in the 4-4-2-2 setup. Remove people from the board and get ITF back. This might take a while and will of course halt the farming process.
Going fast is key but reading what you're clicking is also very important.
That's all, this is by far the easiest way to get a MB in ssf and the best is it requires no scarabs and can be done with scoured maps. While doing this you will also get easily to high 90's (I ended lvl 99 with 20% exp). For sustaining maps I recommend clicking all the map nodes and also buying maps from kirac.
Returning player looking for advice on how to start my Atlas
As the title says, I'm a returning player who just beat the campaign and I'm looking for advice on how start my Atlas passives.
As per the Cheat Sheet, I'm currently planning to getting Essence and maybe also Expedition passives, then Shaping the Mountains -> Unwavering Vision (I'm not actually sure why it says to rush to this) -> Shaping the World. But if anyone has any better ideas, please let me know.
I'm playing a Kinetic Blaster, in case that matters. Thanks in advance.
How long does it take to farm Warrior's Tale / Honoured Alliance(s) in the event?
Hey guys,
even when I don't have much time for a league, I play until I drop enough of the league resources / uniques, in case they don't go core. For my standard SSF collection and future build making projects.
Since TotA happened when I didn't play the game, I would like to farm some of the uniques that are normally drop disabled.
I don't care as much for legacy tattoos, but of course they would be nice to have some as well.
- Do the uniques only drop from TotA itself or can I MF and blast maps?
- How viable is farming those unqiues?
- How long do you think it would take?
- What build should I focus on for the mechanic?
- Any uniques I forgot about that would be easy to farm?
[PoE2] How to craft in SSF post 0.3?
I guess this is my fault for skipping a league. I just learned that not only are homog omens are but the corruption omen as well??
So it feels like everything I knew about crafting beforehand is just out the window now and I feel lost on what to do in a world without those without every craft feeling like gacha style gambling?
Is there a good video, document, etc. on how to deterministically craft in a post 0.3 world with whatever new options available to use now?
Edit: Oh no he's asking a question about SSF in the PoE 2 SSF subreddit imma downvote! idiot
tanky build advices for ubers
Any ssf friendly end game builds that can beat uber bosses and not need to dodge the attacks?
Like beat Sirius and do not need to run away from the Meteor Maze or beat the maven and just stand there during Memory Game
Thanks.
is bob AG smite tanky against ubers? How to craft the spirit blade?
I found this build here
https://mobalytics.gg/poe/profile/ignatius/builds/bob-animate-guardian-of-smiting-end-game-build
Is it a tanky build that even against uber bosses?
And how can I craft the spirit blade?
Two questions about Animate Guardian of Smiting.
Which Ascendancy should I choose?
Gladiator, Juggernaut or Chieftain? After I gave The Grey Wind to the AG, can I take it back?
If not, can I remove the AG gem to another char, and the second char can summon the AG with The Grey Wind?
Thanks.
SSF lv1 to ubers (minions only) best options ?
So I have done a few of these in the past with this group. We basically start on Friday and use /played so see how fast we are instead of just first to complete it.
The rules this time around is
- minions only ,once you can use them (if you want to play a shadow you mule srs from a witch for example and use it from lv4. No non-minion skills that deal damage past that point)
- first to kill any uber boss
- 5 minuite penality per death.
So in the past srs guardian has been very good for 2 or 4 stone races. But if im looking at needing to kill an uber whats my best option ?
Is srs guardian still the best choice or would absolution or mass minions zoo style be better for this ?
Best Minion Build for Farming Spectre Gear?
I am 99% sure I'll be playing a Spectre Necro next league. I've never done Spectres before. I'd like to shoot for Ziz/Helm's 3.28 Frostbearer build, and that will require lots of Delve, farming Dread and Catarina, and lots of Ritual for corpses. I like cozy low-APM builds, and I'm wondering the best way of getting to the final version of the build?
- Vaal Absolution just to maps or all the way to 2 stones?
- Which build to farm Delve/Dread/Catarina on? pSRS? Soulwrest? pRAW?
- Are Spectres strong enough to swap before 2/4 stones? Or is it better to farm up the corpses first?
How to craft a blade like this?
Want to try AG smite Build.
And how can I craft a blade like this with 4-links mods?
Thanks.
how rare are forbidden tattoos this league?
there was much discussion how viable it is to block certain nodes or fish for certain ascendancies. For those that reached maps, how often do you find the forbidden tattoos that grant a random ascendancy notable?
