Rhode Islanders for Personal Privacy are holding an informational meeting this Wednesday, May 20th regarding Flock cameras and their invasion of our Right to Privacy
Hi all,
The meeting from a few weeks ago was a success. People are interested in understanding how their Right to Privacy is being eroded in the digital era we are living in.
So, we are hosting another informational session that will discuss the concerns with Flock cameras and what we can do about it.
When: This Wednesday, May 20th @ 5:45
Where: Knight Memorial Library, 275 Elmwood Ave, Providence, RI

Shameless Plug: Pawtucket Farmers Market x Jordan's Jungle
Hello everyone!
This week is the final Friday of the Pawtucket Farmers Market x Jordan's Jungle winter season (market runs Labor Day - Memorial Day). Come say hi!
We'll have some fun vendors (including the return of Big & Little Spoons Bakery) and you can learn more about our summer plans.
If you're looking for a CSA, I highly recommend the CSA from our Under the Sun Farm. I've personally done it in the past and it was a beautifully wonderful amount of delicious food. They offer full and half shares. The full share is $725/season (aka $36.25/week) and features enough food for up to 6 people. Local pick up and delivery options available.

McDonald’s on Armistice Blvd has a rodent/rodent droppings problem

I’m moving to the area in a couple weeks and have some family coming with to help me move. What are the places that we absolutely have to go to? Any restaurants that are a must? They will only be here a couple days for this time around.

Clock Tower Residences
I remember there being a clock in the circled spot (back in 2018/2019?) but I can’t find any proof this is true. Does anyone else remember this? Every time I drive by I think when are they going to put the clock back lol

Tennis WhatsApp to find other players and schedule matches/hitting
Hey everyone! I made a WhatsApp for tennis players to coordinate matches/hitting around with other players in the Providence/Pawtucket/Attleboro area.
I have spent most of my time in Boston playing and there are a lot WhatsApps to play tennis there but I’ve recently been spending more time in the Providence area and was hoping to find players.

Can someone help me find litter distressed locations on public land for me to collect?
I’m looking to collect litter in distressed areas. The catch is they need to be public areas because I can’t afford to have the bags collected privately. Does anyone know of such locations that are heavily littered? Do you know if the state is helpful about having them collected? I know ive posted this on a few other similar subreddits but I don’t know the area so I wanted to shake more trees!
