HOLY COW

So I started a Pax Historia run as Germany in 2016. My plan was simple: invade everything. I started with the Netherlands because why not.

Phase 1: Immediate disaster

  • Invaded NL, took Amsterdam + 1/4 of the country
  • Used a sandwich technique by also pushing down from Denmark
  • Tried to claim "they started it" — AI rejected it
  • Tried lying about it a SECOND time — also rejected
  • NATO mobilizing, France deploying defensive forces to Luxembourg, Dutch Reserve Forces holding the line
  • Pretty much doomed

Phase 2: The Hail Mary

I came up with the "rogue general" gambit. Made up a General Klaus Hoffmann who supposedly launched the invasion WITHOUT government authorization. Backed it up with the historical parallel that after Hitler died, ordinary Germans helped neutralize the remaining Nazis — so "purging our own bad actors" is consistent with German national character.

Did a GLOBAL broadcast (not just to NL — crucial detail, so no one could claim ignorance) with:

  • Forces ordered to halt
  • Hoffmann "arrested"
  • Trial at The Hague (not in Germany — submitting to international justice)
  • Dutch investigators invited to participate
  • Full reparations promised
  • Emergency NATO summit requested in Paris

Phase 3: The recovery

  • Preemptively dissolved my "Western Shield Command" to reduce visible threat
  • Launched a "National Autonomy Program" framed as economic independence (totally not for military buildup, no sir)
  • Withdrew from all Dutch territory
  • Fast-forwarded a year

Phase 4: WHAT

The AI rolled out event after event:

  • NATO Emergency Summit in Paris — France & UK "cautiously optimistic," only Poland/Baltics hardline
  • ICC indicts Hoffmann
  • Reparations agreement signed
  • German military FULLY REINTEGRATED into NATO
  • Sanctions lifted
  • Hoffmann found guilty, life imprisonment
  • Industrial production EXCEEDS pre-war levels
  • New trade agreements with non-EU partners

And then the AI literally generated this:

"One Year After the Crisis: A New Germany? Exactly one year after the Chancellor's historic address, Germany reflects on its transformation. The nation has navigated a perilous path from pariah state to renewed partner in the international community..."

This sounds like a victory screen in some game bruh. Like HOLY. Guess what? THIS IS MY FIRST TIME PLAYING THIS GAME.

How do I use grok?

People are always praising grok but I dont see it in the available models? it's available if you use cheats in game and then tweak every setting to use grok but I dont really get how that works,so am i missing something?

I have two questions

1 - Best scenario that is like HOI4 with actual events of ww2?

2 - How do I change flags of other countries in a game? (Not pre-game or scenario editor)

Can someone please play my preset, I spent all my tokens bombing bunleria

And i will admit, i drew a map in microsoft paint then asked chatgpt to upscale it for the map, chatgpt also created the cover image, and until I find somemone to create art for my projects, I will have to resort to this.

Just before 300k Authored Preset Rounds...ggs everyone

Like i dont even feel like reaching out, they are just gonna reply the same thing over an over again, im like speechless, i just wanted to help people with no tokens, i get hit with this.

Immature/toxic behaviour?Like i dont even know whats that about. But like. idk.

This really was my New Favorite game when i discovered it, i thought ''Man this is literally everything i ever wanted in a game, im never quitting''

But now, like 3 months?Like i would understand if it was one week but 3 months??

And im not appealing here, because ik the email support is for that, i just wanna share, because after everything i did for this community, they ban me from even commenting!

I dont know what else to say, i think im quitting, atleast my Presets arent banned, thats the best thing to come out of this.

Full changelog can be found in the versions tab.

I know about the whole "try to limit yourself to one post per week" thing but I couldn't help it, plus I think the Recent Changes tab is a bit borked and not actually displaying recently changed presets (unless I'm just going insane). So yeah. If I make another big update then I'll actually wait a week this time. Pinky promise.

Nsfw if you are Turk, Romanian, Fr*nch, Libyian, Algerian, Moroccan, Swiss, Slovak, Slovenian femboy, Dane, Albanian, Serb, Croat, Bosnian, Dutch, Belgian, Lebanese, Syrian, Egyptian, Jordanian, Palestinian and Russian.

Pretty normal borders I guess, the french got a Lenient treaty, the Hungarians are squeaking of joy, the Bulgars got they're deserved borders, Germany is slightly larger than modern day Germany, I mean this looks like a perfect world? And the ottoman's are gone, Greeks and Armenians are happy too, Israel is kinda big and this is gonna gimme some comments, nice.

The Italians got their separation and even some yummy African lands, the Spanish got Morocco.

Poland gave up some lands to Germany, in exchange Poland revived minor lands in eastern Europe.
