Gourmand - does progress save if I leave game to come back?

As subject - I've gotten the coconut and honeycomb so far - but have to leave for the night - as I was leaving it said I could return to the last campfire when I return - Will it remember that I've eaten honeycomb and coconut?

Just wanting to know if I should restart tomorrow... thanks

As a kid I hoarded stickers for the perfect moment. These days I reach the peak with an inventory full of good items. I guess some things don't change.

I hope someone can relate :')

PSA the capy oasis water does not prevent fall damage

i randomly decided to play peak again after couple months, wanted to get the solo wolf badge today. it was my first time going through roots and it was SO HARD i couldve just waited for the map reset but i am stubborn so i probably played from 6pm to midnight until i finally FINALLY got past roots..

after a miraculous run, i made it up alpines first try but. i didn't have the capy bugle badge and i saw the oasis right below me, despite the campfire being in linesight....

my brain immediately assumed the water would break my fall and.. well.. sigh...

Biome selection mod?

I was looking for a map selection mod yesterday and everyone keeps mentioning morePeak.

Being able to choose random instead of daily is cool and all, but thats about where it ends.

What I expected was that you could choose what random biomes you get, so if the second one is desert, cold or the new forest.

But what it actually is is just selecting the exact order of every level with "Level_0, Level_1..." without any way of knowing what is what.

Is there any mod that does what I'm looking for?

Tornados are absurd.

Today the most insane thing happened with a tornado. I really wish I was recording my run because it's almost unbelievable.

I was at the very first part of the map right after the climb down from the second map (today it was roots). I had 6 Ballons and was excited to try to get the golden bing bong to carry with me to the kiln.

Right at the start of the level I was hiding in the shade because I wanted to also try to get the less than 10% heat achievement when I noticed a tornado was coming towards me, so I ran to the wall to grab something and I found a nice small cave. One of those that makes your character bend over backwards because he doesn't really fit very well.

This should be the perfect hiding spot to wait for the tornado to pass, I said to myself. I was grabbing the wall to make sure nothing happened to me, I was being extra careful for no reason at all.

The sound started to get louder, the ground started shaking more and more. Is this tornado coming directly to me? Could it be that they are homing tornados? Nonsense!... But it did.

The bastard sucked me out of my hiding spot! And there I was going around in circles high in the air, I couldn't believe it! I fell to the ground and I was going to start to run to recover myself. But I couldn't get 3 steps in, I was caught again!! I don't know if it was by the same tornado or maybe it could have been a different one.

I was dumbfounded, this time I fell very high in a cactus and couldn't do anything anymore then I fell to the ground and died right there. I could play like 30 s in that biome. Got totally rekt by that homing tornado that sucked out of the tiny cave while I was craving the wall. Honestly it was a little bit infuriating/frustrating but totally amazing at the same time and I really wish I was recording that time because it would have been an incredible video to share. It was simply absurd.

We took Bing Bong up Scotland's highest mountain, Ben Nevis

We thought it would help take his mind off the divorce

This remains my most clutch moment to this day

Naturally my mic was muted but I guess I grabbed the wall at just the right moment
