I see few people being concerned about Pearl becoming like Hyacine in regards to versatility. I want to ask: why? Hyacine being universal doesn't make her bad or mid for Monorem. And in fact makes it only stronger.

I view relationships between teams and Hyacine like this:

- Monoremembrance or any team with HP-scaler — exceptionally good

- Any other team — just pretty good.

She works well enough in normal teams to keep them alive + do some part in dealing damage, while HP-scalers win much more due to Hyacine's buffs + AoE heal.

Wouldn't it make sense if Pearl worked like that too? She provides exceptional benefit to Elation(plus FuA it seems?), while being just good enough for other teams to keep team fine + few supplying few goodies?

And if Pearl will be released as good sustain, but not much better for Elation, then wouldn't it mean that Hoyo didn't pull Hyacine on Pearl because Hyacine is BiS for Monorem?

Do we have a date for the beta? I'm sooo impatient to see her. I have no nails left to bite so give me your hand.

Besides the obvious answer of being bad.

do you want her to not work with certain teams cuz

maybe it'll be redundant.

maybe you don't want her to have long elation animations cuz maybe it'll get annoying.

maybe you dont want her stepping on the toes of other characters you like.

im genuinely curious to see what your guy's answer is.

With her drip marketing having dropped , we’re starting to get more kit crumbs .

• She is a Shielder who scales with SPD and grants extra buffs to Path of Elation allies; • She grants SPD to allies protected by her Shield, and Path of Elation allies receive a portion of her Elation based on her own Elation; • She converts her SPD into CRIT DMG and buffs the CRIT DMG of all allies. Additionally, she can extend the duration of the "certified banger" buff for a single target ally (other than herself); • Her Skill affects all allies, while her Ultimate affects only a single target ally; • She possesses an Enhanced Basic Attack with 3 charges after using her Ultimate; this attack resets her Shield value, deals DMG, and generates punchlines; • Her Elation Skill deals no DMG but generates punchline and resets her Shield value. •Path changing mechanic seems to be tied to trace ? With her drip marketing about to drop in less than 24 hours , we’re about to get some kit leaks coming along with that . From what we’ve gathered along so far she will 100% be the elation sustain . •Likely has a skill which has modified effects when used on other characters other than herself. • Her weapon likely gets attached or used in the animation for the character it's used on. • She likely has a single-target buff similar to Bronya, Sparkle, and Cerydra.(Sakura haven)

• She needs other Elation Characters to make her kit works. •She provides different kind of support based on path of the team. •She can also switch her path and provide Shields or Heals. In other words, Aventurine SP and Pearl can team up without affecting eachother kit strength. (Full stop Chan & Hxg )

As for the the more sus leaks that I’ve seen going around •pearl extends a single allies certified banger

Really hoping she’s a ground breaking sustain unit great mechanics for elation teams , since half of the playerbase are opting out for sustainless teams to clear endgame . What would you guys like her kit to be ?

PEARL 5 STAR WIND ELATION

BASIC ATTACK “perhaps a brush”
Deals wind DMG equal to 100% of Pearl’s DEF to one designated enemy

SKILL “infinite elation”
Gains 3 stacks of “aroma” and immediately Provides all allies with a shield that can offset DMG equal to 35% of Pearl’s DEF plus 500. When repeatedly receiving Pearl’s Shield, can stack the Shield Effect, but it will not exceed 400% of the current Shield provided by Skill. Additionally, when Pearl possesses 12 stacks of “aroma” this ability is enhanced to “infinite preservation”. This unit can actively choose between using both abilities.

ENHANCED SKILL “infinite preservation”
Consumes all “aroma” stacks dealing 25% Wind Elation DMG to all enemy targets and deploys a zone for 4 turn(s). This duration decreases by 1 at the start of this unit's every turn. When the zone is active , all allies ignore 20% of enemy target’s DEF.

ULTIMATE “so this is elation?”
Increases all allies SPD by 15% and deals 80% Wind Elation DMG to one designated enemy and 20% Wind Elation DMG to all enemy targets and for every “aroma” stacks that this unit possesses when using this ability all allies’s CRIT RATE increases by 2%.

Talent “follows the empire”
When an ally character deals DMG to enemy targets , Pearl gains 1 stack of “aroma” and 2 Punchline. Additionally, Pearl’s SPD is fixed at 133 when in combat and cannot be advanced by any means and for every 1 SPD point ,she has initially, exceeded , this unit gains 5% elation and 10% CRIT DMG.
When stone heart characters are in the zone they can gain a special effect.
Aventurine: increases aventurine’s SPD by 25% and energy regeneration rate by 30%.
Topaz: “Proof of debt” can now stack for 2 time(s) and all enemy targets are inflicted with “Proof of debt” when it’s inflicted. Topaz’s ATK increases by 120% and CRIT DMG by 150%.
Jade: when Pearl is the debt Collector Jade’s RES PEN is increased by 2% for every 100 ATK she possesses and the stacks required for the Talent are reduced to 4 stack(s).
Aventurine Waveflair: Pearl doesn’t count as an elation character and all of her attacks are instead considered follow-up attacks when in combat. All allies SPD increases by 20%.

Elation SKILL ”Temper the stone”
Deals 30% Elation Wind DMG to all enemy targets and gains 4 stacks of “aroma”. When stacks reaches 12 along using this ability , gains 1 extra turn.

TRACES

-When Pearl possesses 12 stacks of “aroma” gains 1 extra turn. Additionally, other ally targets follow-up attacks or elation skills generates 3 stacks of “aroma”. When more than 1 elation skill is taken into account in aha instant , only one elation skill will count towards this ability.

-When an ally target’s HP is consumed the shield points will compensate said HP loss. In addition, Pearl’s CRIT RATE and DEF are increased by 10% and 15% respectively of the sum of all allies CRIT RATE and DEF.

-Recovers 1 skill points for allies for every 3 skill points consumed , this effect can only trigger 1 time and the trigger count is reset when this unit uses ultimate.

When does hoyo usually release it?
