Does anyone use MCP to develop projects

My org got onboarded on version 26 in early august and we use github copilot for other development but since getting pega platform I realized we can use the pega-infinity plug in to develop instead of dealing with the horrible configuration that they have you do.

It's honestly pretty powerful so I just wanted to know if anyone else is using it since I dont really see a lot of posts about it. And how in the heck did you guys develop before this plug in/without it? Pega platform is not hard but its like watching paint dry developing with it. Its so painful so this has been amazing to work with to avoid all of that configuration nonsense.

Pega 24.1 → 26.1 Out-of-Place Upgrade. What Should We Prepare?

Hi everyone,

My organization is planning to upgrade our Pega application from Pega 24.1 to Pega 26.1.

This will be an out-of-place upgrade, and the current expectation is near-zero downtime during the transition.

I'm involved in the upgrade and want to make sure we understand the prerequisites, dependencies, risks, and information we need before starting.

I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who has worked on a similar Pega upgrade.

What should we consider before the upgrade?

What are the key prerequisites and compatibility checks we should complete before moving from 24.1 → 26.1?

What information should I ask the existing team for?
