Why is Diet Coke the go-to drink for fat loss, but not Pepsi Zero Sugar

Whenever someone is dieting or trying to lose weight, I almost always see people recommending or drinking Diet Coke. But Pepsi Zero Sugar is also zero calories and zero sugar.

So why does Diet Coke seem to be the default choice?

Is it just better marketing or brand loyalty?

Does Diet Coke actually taste better to most people?

Is there any nutritional or health difference that makes people choose Diet Coke over Pepsi Zero Sugar?

Or is it simply because Diet Coke became popular first?

I've tried both, and I actually enjoy Pepsi Zero Sugar. I'm genuinely curious why it doesn't get the same recognition, especially among people focused on fat loss.

What's your take?

warehouse delivery system.

I’ve noticed that the Bubly sparkling water shelf at my store is frequently empty or poorly stocked lately. Back when it was handled through DSD (Direct Store Delivery), we consistently had full displays and good visibility. Now it feels like a billion-dollar brand is being managed by team members earning around $16/hour with little incentive to prioritize it, and the difference is noticeable.
Curious if anyone else is seeing the same thing in their stores — empty shelves, minimal or no displays, etc.?

Still haven’t gotten paid for Juneteenth holiday

So my last week with Pepsi was the week of Juneteenth and I worked my full week, full shifts on all 5 days including Juneteenth and that following Saturday. I’ve been reaching out to PepsiCo including the 888 number and they saw that I was indeed missing the holiday and that my local hr didn’t key it in. They keep telling me that they’re a third party company that works with PepsiCo and the only thing they can do is email my local hr and escalate it to their higher ups. The phone number they gave me for my local hr person is a non working number. They’re responding to my email. They keep saying they will put in a ticket and that I have to wait 24-48hrs for them to contact me which hasn’t happened yet and it’s going on 3 weeks and I still haven’t gotten my holiday pay. Idk if they mad because I quit that week or what but I want what’s owed to me. What’s the next step because if I have to go up there then I’m not going to be nice about it.

Fourth of july Merch

Did anyone else have an easier day than expected for the 4th of July?

I'm a Pepsi merchandiser, and after seeing a bunch of posts on TikTok and Reddit, I was mentally preparing for an absolutely brutal day. Everyone was saying to get ready because it was going to be super heavy.

To my surprise, I only ended up working about 9 hours. Don't get me wrong—it was still busy, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected.

Did anyone else have a lighter-than-expected day, or did your route end up being as crazy as everyone was saying?

Merch coworker pressured my boss to switch my route with them. Now I have a crap route with no where else to go.

Context I’m a merch in an east shore market with the TSR / merchandiser setup. I like the job and been working for 10 months now, but a month ago my boss switched my route with another route because the merch on my current route had HR problems with the rep. I liked my old route and felt like I was forced out of it, this new route literally all the stores give me problems. My PriceRite are a bunch of racist assholes that keep global ticketing me, refusing to sign my phone, making inappropriate comments and saying I have too much stuff yet they write the orders (smh). Like I genuinely don’t want this route, I told my boss and they aren’t really interested in switching me back and they won’t put me as a floater either. I contacted HR about the whole pricerite situation and they’re looking into it. The other thing bothering me is that the merch that had this route now is trash talking me behind my back on social media, company phone group chats etc etc yet my boss is turning a blind eye to this. So idk what to do

How’s everyone feeling after hell week

Title explains itself, I’ve slung so many drinks this week, got partial help throughout the week I will say. Just wondering how it is for the rest of you? I’ll say one thing this excessive heat in my area has had people buying Gatorade out the ass.

The Pepsi Story

In addition to running PepsiCanDesigns.com . . . I'm also a history podcaster. The one thing I haven't done yet is a story about Pepsi. If you know of interesting things Pepsi did or was involved with, or maybe something about their history I am in collection mode. Would love to hear some "unknown stories".

Does this mean I won't be getting holiday pay for today?

Schedule seems to imply holiday pay was for yesterday and not today.
