Suspended

Is getting suspended, just a soft.....im fired or will the company actually see i just had really bad luck that day.

Im a forklift operator in a warehouse, been working less than a year here. However I am consistently top proformer. Already received transporter of the period twice.

On Tuesday I had a bad day. A pallet I double stacked fell over and damaged a dock door. Then later than same day a refresher placed a pallet of product in the middle of the isle(not suppose to be done) I collided with it. I didnt explode or act improper. I sighed, cleaned up and got back to work. The next morning I was suspended and now I cant help but think I should be applying for new jobs. Which really suck bc I love this job. The hours and pay fit my life perfectly.

So am I fired or do I have hope?

To the guy asking about SAVVY

Here is a daily occurrence all of us savvy users get to deal with.
At Least for me and my merch team it’s always syncing issues when trying to clock out or clock in, punching in or out of the store
And when trying to look at the order and what’s on each pallet, it feels like it takes a century.
Anyways, thanks for coming to my mini TED talk

Influx of women

I work in the south division and it's becoming pretty obvious. Has any other plant/warehouse seen the same phenomenon? I've been getting complaints from fellow team members about being passed up on roles where they've had equal or more experience to a woman among many other things. Literally 70% of upper mama at my plant is predominantly female to the point where even I'm thinking it's weird.

Disclaimer: please don't come in here with that sexist or misogynistic crap. This is merely an observation, if you've observed the same just share your thoughts.

Interviewed for Loader Job but didn’t complete the physical test in under the 15 minutes

And received word back today that I did not get the job. Finished 2 1/2 pallets. The part I was most confused about is why my middle back tightened up on me during it. I am not in amazing shape by any means, but I am consistently active, maintain strength and flexibility in the gym, etc. If I could go back, I would’ve planned out how I would’ve done it more efficiently before starting. Interviewer was impressed by my work history and resume, but I do believe what cost me the position was not being able to complete the physical test portion. I have no doubt that I would’ve been able to do the actual order selecting well, considering I’ve done a good amount of this work throughout my work experience. Really disheartening. Really wanted this one.

No update after interview

Hi all, Wondering if I will hear back from pepsi after interview. I have read it takes a while for pepsi to update however I went in on the 6th of May for an interview. The interviewer stated he really wanted the position closed that Friday the 8th to continuously check my email and spam folders. He said they would reach out either way and reminded me to check email regularly on the 8th. When they send a request for a drug screen you have a short time to reply dont miss the emails.

I have checked repeatedly since and it is now the 20th and 0 emails from them since finishing interview. Pepsi portal still says I have a interview scheduled and the results have not been provided. This is confusing with interviewing stating numerous times for to check emails on May 8th.

I do not have any contact information for the interviewer to ask about an update and when I called the pepsi application line the rep would not let me explain interviewer stated results in two days. Just stated I need to be patient and keep checking emails and portal.

I was invited to interview for another position when I went to interview for this one but had been waiting on a interview date to open. Now silence on that role portal says I am eligible to continue for that role I didn't interview for but it just opened again and no invite yet to interview.

Does this mean I was not selected and portal just isn't updating?

Merchandisers who actually enjoy their job

Why does everyone here despise being a merch? I can understand how some (almost all) of you guys truly feel about being a merch… maybe the pay is not enough for your area, and I understand. But what other job will give you unlimited OT, all around freedom without constantly being told what to do or hounded? Currently in the Pennsylvania/Delaware area im making more a week than most people with a full on degree… for just putting SODAS out on shelves… Before Pepsi I was a merch for 10 years at my previous employer. But this here seems like its not that big of an issue to myself personally! Would love to hear your guys opinion on the job.

Miscellaneous

What’s with the Main Merch Route owner’s deliberately not working the miscellaneous(poppi, alani etc) & leaving that shit it for the floaters to do.

Pepsi Warehouse selector *New Hired*

I got offered the position last Thursday, later that day I completed the form for the backgournd check. On Friday morning I did the drug test. The following Monday I received an email saying that the wait time for a background check is 7-10 business days. Im kinda anxious about it. What do they really look into the background. What's the "red flags" and the "green flags" that they see.

Thank you in advance

Bring back pepsi nitro 😭

I just found out that Pepsi discontinued those wonderful drinks 😭 are there any that, if existed, would even be good to drink now if I had made an attempt to buy from a 3rd party? I miss that vanilla so much

Merchandising problems

I have been with pepsi one year exactly. Flex at first, then got my own route. It is two krogers. I know corporate sees these but i honestly don’t care. I have been struggling really bad. I used to get help when i needed it, but they changed and removed positions so i have new managers. They are making it so i don’t ever receive help anymore. One guy worked one of my krogers like 10 years ago, and think its not “busy” so he’s telling my other manager that its not busy but it is. I get like 8-12 pallets every other day of shit we don’t need. Then get bot ordered on top of that. Saturdays o we can go a little heavy, but the other days? No We don’t need that shit. We get an order every other day. No need to bring in 10+ freaking pallets every other day man. Shit doesn’t even fit into back stock, and they are bitching at me about how 10 palets don’t fit into back stock and how i’m not flavor stacking every single case completely, if i mix one flavor with another it’s “unacceptable”. There is no way i can flavor stack all this shit. then they still want me to break down the other pallets that will be out of area on another wmpty pallet and flavor stack those. They’re saying “i don’t care if we’re out of area as long as you flavor stack” Hut the managers are getting pissed off when we are out of area and instead of yelling at the sales rep they yell at me the merchandiser as if i have any control on what comes in. I miss how it used to be, They took away my help, and i used to get my weekend guy, on tuesday as a flex help, because of display changes and big orders, and they took that away from me. So i have been working 12-14 hrs every single day and they get so pissed off if i go over the 42-45 hour limit cus they don’t want overtime….. Dude i can’t keep working this many hours because they’re bombing shit in we don’t need and i’m the one getting in trouble for all of it when it isn’t my freaking fault. I got 58 hrs this week…. Because of this…. I can’t do this all summer i am completely freaking drained. No breaks nothing. they are having unrealistic standards.
I don’t know what to do anymore. It used to be great until these managers came in. Non order days, i go to my first store, then my second store and back to my first store again, (i do everyday but this day was different)
My manager came in 5 hours after i left my first store, just showed up, didn’t text or call me or ask if i was there. He was pissed of how empty it was n blah blah blah little shit, and he had the audacity to tell me that i barely worked and it looked like i didn’t do anything and he legit called me LAZY!! A manger straight up called me lazy and he couldn’t baby sit me everyday and that i need to do my job. That he shouldn’t have had to pull a bunch of cart fulls of merch out…… Like dude??? I have a second hit i still HAVE to do on a fucking saturday, the busiest day of the week. not my fault you showed up 4-5 hours after i did my first hit. That is the reasoning for the second hit, because it’s busy… and people buy shit…. They all think it’s just an easy two stores when it’s not, they’re really busy freaking stores man. N they don’t understand. They think i just didn’t do my job, but i did. It just sold down. I got in trouble for that, and he made me send pictures of all selling points, and pictures after my second hit. I literally had to put up two fingers in my pictures for my second hit because he didn’t believe i did a second hit. Smh. Pepsi is going down hill so fast. I can’t work almost 60 hours every fucking week with two stores having almost 10 pallets with no help.

What is going on ?

To the people that still care

It’s done. We’ve officially hit Coke 2.0, but that was goal wasn’t it? Or should I say 1.5 because they always get an extra person to help work the 2 pallets they get. And they still manage to fuck it up. Started with Pepsi 6 years ago during Covid, and it was a completely different work experience. People got help, backrooms weren’t cluttered with extra bullshit, everyone tried their best. Fast forward to 2026, I don’t even have words to describe it. It’s just done. The CAO ordering system at Walmart is fucked, it wants to order everything and you can’t take anything off. Savvy is a dumpster fire. There is multiple Walmarts I’ve been to that have pallets on top of pallets on top of pallets of shit that doesn’t need to be there. Publix’s ordering system isn’t much better, they always like to whine to us about having pallets. Well, guess what? YOU ordered the shit. It’s just a battle now between us, Coke, 7 up, and the beer companies of how much shit we can possibly cram into the backstock of these corporations and companies. Let’s not forget how we hire off the street and as long as said person shows up it’s fine, right? We aren’t completing half the truck and leaving pallets for the next person but hey, it’s all good at least it’s a warm body that shows up so fuck it. And to the people who suck this companies dick off, they can replace you the next day. Im calling this shit for what it is, a disaster. Do better corporate.
Also to the grifters who are gonna say “just leave”, our economy is fucked and the job market is non existent. I can’t leave this hell hole.

Question about retirement account

I'm still confused on how Pepsi's new retirement works. I understand they froze the pension plan I get that, but do those that were part of the plan originally still earn from or do they now earn from the ARC plan? And if so how do I see it??? Not one Pepsi higher up can answer it.
