Was able to FINALLY complete my Persona 5 poster with every Phantom Thieve’s signature, thanks to Xander Mobus this past weekend at Anime Expo. Feels fitting to end things with Joker himself!

Traveling to different cons over the past couple years to make this happen was a huge undertaking and a fun ride. Really happy to have this complete tribute to one of my favorite games and favorite casts of all time.

Goro Akechi: Perpetrator of the mental shutdowns and your rival

Masayoshi Shido: The one responsible for your current situation, the one who the game had been building up to from the start for you to get revenge on, the one who has connections with many of the other villians

Yaldabaoth: The last minute twist villian who is responsible for many events of the game, as well as the one who bestowed both your and Akechi's abilities, and the final boss of the original game

Takuto Maruki: The true final boss of P5R

Futaba is, in my opinion, the best-written character in Persona 5. Her palace and her story are just so grounded and in touch that I can't help but love this sweet little bean.

To be clear, I don't like her like *that*, I'm gay as shit. The reason why I do is a lot more personal, as she reminds me a lot of what my little sister went through. Without going into the details, she was also very young when adults broke her spirit in a way that she sank into a depressive episode and Futaba reminds me so much of her.

Her love for this stupid kids show, her aptitude for hacking, her self-doubt and self-loathing for something out of her control... it all just reminds me so much of her, a person I've sworn to protect.

Her palace is also coincidentally my second favorite in the game, simply because of the variety that went into it with the desert city, the pyramids puzzles etc. Even though her palace was by far the easiest, it was so cool because she was the only character before royal to have a palace that's not necessarily associated with her being "evil". The storytelling through the murals was also so cool and interesting, I just loved it so much.

"They trampled all over your young heart! Get mad! Don't forgive these rotten adults!" Is the single most powerful line in the entire game for me. I still get chills just thinking about it, because it encompasses what I believe these terrible people deserve. The entire boss fight held that emotional power and there's only the 3rd semester boss fight that could unleash such emotions in me, even if it was piss easy.

She's also the character I romance, NOT BECAUSE I WANT TO DO SOMETHING WITH MY SISTER!!! But more because I don't see Joker as a self-insert, but as his own character. And if I knew that someone else, someone with a strong sense of justice like Joker, a guy who was willing to stand up for a sexually abused woman, was capable of loving and protecting her, helping her to get out of herself in my stead, I'd be glad to know she'd be in good hands.

The reason why I made this post was to show appreciation to an in my opinion criminally underappreciated character. She may not be the character I relate to the most, that would be Makoto, but she's the character I've grown to love the most out of the main cast.

So thank you Atlus, for creating this sweet little bean for me to enjoy and cherish <3

(Oh also, she's saved my ass so often in combat, I was obligated to show her my respect)

I wanted for a lot of time, I went to the store for FFX but they didn't have It, so I went with this and Nier Replicant. I don't know when I'm gonna have the time to play this, but I'm sure I'm in for and amazing experience!

If you want feel free to give me some tips or telling me something I'm gonna understand only after playing it etc (no spoilers to the slightest please 🙏)
