I don't mind meeting new people.

But I genuinely can't stand those conversations where someone reaches out with absolutely no intention of saying anything meaningful or productive.

Some guy I met at work two days ago and with whom I had lunch just asked me how was work today and there is not a single way I will spend any energy to text him back. This is just because I know this conversation is going to lead nowhere...

Am I an asshole for thinking like this ?

22M software engineer. I try to manage my time tightly, so a few months ago I gave my AI agent the task to book one date night for me and my girlfriend every week. It picked the place, made the reservation and put it on both our calendars.

It made good choices for now. Some Thai place, a wine bar, a jazz thing. So, I stopped checking in advance. Yesterday I looked at the calendar 20 minutes beforehand to see where we're going bc I was hungry and saw McDonalds.

I had no time to book another reservation so I just went there This thing wants me to break up or something.

A few weeks ago I handed my grocery run over to an AI agent. I send it my meal plan for the week and it builds the cart and orders. It's been doing super good for now.

Until yesterday it ordered 434 cloves of garlic that were delivered to my front door.

I've started braiding it. This is my life now. Anyone has an idea what I should do with all of it ?
