I can’t tell what’s more white: her teeth or her coat! Either way she loves it when I pull her teeth and play with her mouth. That smile says it all 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Beauty May’s Update❤️‍🩹/Coloring Hope ⭐️

Hi everyone,

I founded Voiceless No More: Philippines Stray Animals Foundation, a registered non-profit dedicated to helping neglected, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats in the Philippines.

To help raise funds for veterinary care, food, rescue transportation, and rehabilitation, I created printable coloring sheets featuring 10 real rescue animals our foundation has helped: Bela, Beauty May, Riley, MatMat, MaeMae, Baci, Elijah, Isabella, Doki, and Angel.

If you enjoy coloring or would like to support animal rescue, I'd be grateful if you took a look. Every purchase helps fund future rescues and medical care.

Thank you for helping us give these animals the love and care they deserve.

This month:
Beauty May, Angel, Doki, Bella, and Elijah are going to the Vet.

The Pasig cats are finally feeling better 🤍

Beauty May

I wanted to share a small update about Beauty May.
Ms. Carina Suarez, the owner of the sanctuary, has noticed some changes that are concerning. Her appetite has decreased again, and she seems to be isolating herself from the other animals. Ms. Suarez also observed that Beauty May has been eating dirt, and when she gently felt her abdomen, it seemed quite firm.

We became emotional because we care so deeply for Beauty May. We are incredibly grateful to have partnered with a sanctuary where rescued animals are treated with such compassion and genuine love.

I suggested bringing Beauty May back to the veterinarian, but Ms. Suarez would like to continue monitoring her closely for now and hand-feed her. She is worried that confining Beauty May in a clinic may cause her additional stress, especially since she enjoys roaming freely around the sanctuary.

I keep reminding her that whatever Beauty May needs, we will provide. Even if I have to work more and more. I will do it.

We will continue to stay in close contact and share updates as soon as we receive them. Beauty May means so much to us, and we remain hopeful that she will begin feeling better again. Thank you for keeping her in your thoughts and for continuing to support her journey.

I apologize as I could not make more video updates today. I just finished a night shift. I am very exhausted physically and emotionally. I love Beauty May and all of them.

Thank you,

Update: Doki’s 4th EPO treatment🐾💛⚡️

Hi everyone,

I am really hoping Doki's treatment is working and that he becomes more stable. Chronic kidney disease can progress quickly, and more than anything, I want him to be comfortable, pain-free, and as healthy as possible.
Thank you to everyone who continues to care about animals. They deserve a life filled with love, respect, dignity, and compassion, no matter where they came from.

I can't believe I've known Doki for six months now, even before I officially registered the non-profit. If I'm being honest, there are times I regret making it official. Running a registered non-profit comes with endless paperwork, rules, and responsibilities. I've never been someone who enjoys broadcasting volunteer work. I would have been perfectly happy helping quietly behind the scenes.

BUT then I think about Doki, Beauty May, Baci, Angel the Husky, MeiMei, Jericho, ChiChi, MatMat, Raphael, Isabella, and the many other animals we've been able to help more than 30 of them. Many of you would have never known their stories, and they may not have received the support that changed their lives.

Sharing these stories isn't about recognition. It's about raising awareness that these situations are real. They are heartbreaking, but they exist whether we look at them or not. We can't pretend they aren't happening, because if we did, animals like Doki and so many others might never receive the help they desperately need.
Thank you for caring, for following their journeys, and for giving these animals hope.

Sincerely,

Magdalene “Dindi” Gensaya

Neglected Huskey in the Philippines - Rescued! #VoicelessNoMorePH

Hi everyone,
I saw a video of a neglected Husky in Bacoor, Cavite. She was living in a cage and had a paw/leg injury from the broken wires of her old cage. The real owner didn't walk her and was reportedly feeding her rotten food.

The person who posted the video is actually a family member of the owner. She felt bad for the dog and decided to post about her on social media. She was really afraid of what could happen, but she still did it anyway, and I truly admire her for that. 👏

The owner's mother wanted money in exchange for the dog, so I paid so they would finally let her go. She never even had a name, so I named her Angel-ina Julyie, or "Angel" for short, because she was rescued in July.

A lot of people commented saying they wanted to adopt her, but both the OP and I were worried that because she's an unspayed Husky, she could end up being used for breeding. When I posted her on my personal page and on Voiceless No More: Philippines Stray Animals Foundation, I made it clear that anyone interested in adopting her would have to agree to have her spayed and give her the daily exercise Huskies need. After that, nobody inquired.

It honestly bugs me when dogs are treated like money-making machines instead of family.

Thankfully, I found a shelter that is willing to care for her while she recovers. She'll be seeing a veterinarian on Monday for her injuries, and once she's healthy enough, I will have her spayed before we start looking for the right forever home.

Voiceless No More: Philippines Stray Animals Foundation sponsored and organized this rescue mission and will continue sponsoring Angel's veterinary care and daily needs.

If anyone would like to support Angel, I'll leave the link below. But please don't ever feel pressured. I'm always afraid of being judged because I ask for help for them.
If helping isn't something you want to do, that's completely okay. I'll keep working harder. I'm only human, and I have feelings too. I am still new at this, so I don’t have a thick skin yet when people accuse me of something I am not. Especially when people have no idea how much money, time, emotions, and energy I also invest. It hurts..

I'll make a video sharing Angel's story and her arrival at the shelter, and I'll post more updates in the next few days. I am just really really tired.
I'm working 72 hours this week to make sure I can continue providing for my rescues. I'm also trying to brainstorm fundraising ideas here in my town and internationally, but I'm honestly exhausted today and have another night shift tonight. I'll get back to everyone as soon as I can.

Thank you for caring about Angel. ❤️

P.S.

I do not understand, why buy huskies in the Philippines… it’s so hot there. :( we need to be considerate of animals’ well-being and their needs.

Meet Coffee 🥰

She is a playful light brown coloured Indie. Named her coffee based on her fur coat. I also call her “Coffee Bite” - like the coffee flavoured toffee ☺️

She is approx 1.5 - 2 years old. Very sweet loving and gentle doggo. Very distinguished as well 11/10.

Also love those floppy “Yoda” ears 😄

Old Tony

In my spare time, I like to go around my county and take pictures of the sadly large number of strays I encounter. Usually, I try to give them a few snacks and a couple of pets before I take their photos. It’s my way of bonding with them, even if it’s only for a moment. It helps me build a mental picture of the dogs’ or cats’ stories and what they have been through.
Today I met this old guy. He was outside a warehouse. He was well-fed, but sadly he has an eye problem. At first, he was shy, but then he happily accepted my pets. I got the feeling that Tony would suit him, so for now, he’s Old Tony.
I’ll try to find him again, and maybe I’ll be able to take him to the vet.
