I've been working on making Marvin's house in Blender for renders
this is my favorite render i've done so far :)
i've been learning basic blender stuff as of late and thought this would be a fun project. the textures and props have been gathered from various resources online, but the actual house layout and arrangement of everything has been done by me.
Somebody should make a Giftscop-type recreation of Sheriff Domestic
it would be cool. maybe also The Awoglet How, Operation: Steal Disk, and the prototypes from Sheriff Domestic 15 and 22 could be included? maybe that's too much tho
Not required, but maybe it could tie together some unseen stuff from the videos? I really wanna see how Pickle Chin's campaign could end.
Nightmare Masterclasses videos are great, but I think they get a little too overboard on the greater schemas on Petscop
That is to say, I do really think Petscop was mostly thought out and very much well constructed - and I do appreciate his own lauding of the series primarily as art rather than a puzzle to be solved, but I think he reaches in quite a few areas of the series, and I don't really see his total reasoning for doing so.
Of course all of Petscop is interpretative, so my opinion doesn't overtake his - but bringing aspects of socio-economics, politics, and greater societal issues into a very personalized story is just a bit of overreaching in my opinion. I highly, highly doubt any of these factors were major aspects of Petscop during its creation, if they were they would at the very least have some sort of larger implication - as the series is I really don't see why Nightmare Masterclass had to bring those factors in. Petscop was meticulously thought out, but not that out in my opinion, it's too tightly made to tackle the massive societal factors he brings in. Even if he's bringing them up as only vestigial aspects, I really don't see how you could do that with almost anything and always end up at the same point: overbearing your listener, and going off the range of your topic.
I think the series is a bit simpler and more straightforward in its approach (not necessarily in it's content, mind you) than he makes it out to be. It's a play on creepypasta mixed with Lynchian experimentation and is focused on abstract themes ranging from child abuse to identity and PTSD - which we do agree on to a certain extent as he always emphasizes the core theme is child abuse. I just dislike that he brings in societal issues (which by the way I politically agree with for the most part) when I don't think that needed to be there in his interpretation nor do I think played much of a factor at all in Petscop's creation. Petscop isn't and was never about those things imho.
TL:DR - Great series of videos and easily one of the best on Petscop out there, but I do dislike personally how large in scope he sometimes makes Petscop out to be when it simply isn't in my eyes (not at all a bad thing, bigger isn't always better).
There are no changes, only replacements.
I swear every time I watch Petscop again, I see something new. In this particular case, it feels like an acknowledgment of both the state of the game’s development and one of the series recurring themes. Some things you can’t rewrite. People can’t be reborn. In a way who they become just replaces who they were.
What are other blink-and-you’ll-miss-it things stick out to you all?
Paul Carrie Theroy
I watched episode 14 many time over, becuase I feel it is the most important. I developed a theory that Carrrie Mark went missing, someone rebirthed Paul as Carrie. Then Carrie came back and now the 2 are linked, like the demo and Live version of paul in game, 1 person in two places. This is why Pauls words to Jill come out of Cares mouth to Ana.
Petscop Soundtrack - Final Pet
Recovered from a Tarnacop machine.
