Phairene cosplayers having a fun time

Both of the Cosplayers are in a horror house, but this time Phainon became the Damsel in distress, a nice change of wind nevertheless.

Treating Smolrene's arts, Rule 2 and 8

Greetings everyone

In our continuance to find a way to properly rewrite the rules and fit the mentality of the subreddit due to the rules (especially 2 and 8) being contradictory we are now fully diving into a "hot topic": Smolrene.

I will start this by saying that I am not here to tell my opinion. I am doing my best to be objective, to have rules that I agree or disagree with, so we can have proper moderation that will satisfy everyone.

The first Poll ended and said that we should allow Phairene Nsfw. Obviously, these will be tagged. The rule will be changed accordingly when all of this is over.

The second was mentioning how to include Smolrene. And even if it is not over, a crushing majority seems to agree that we should allow ALL Smolrene content, including Nsfw.

However, this will not come without any specific rules. For a reason relatively simple: Smolrene was used in multiple points of time. In her childhood, and even after she grew up with Phainon, and also simply due to her flaw making her physically unable to grow.

So all of this can be very confusing, and to make sure we are all on the same page (and that I can properly moderate future posts, I ask you what we should do about Smolrene, and how to include Nsfw posts about her.

Obviously, if she is depicted as a Minor, this wouldn't be good. But how do we describe that? I will welcome every proposition.

A first proposition would be that any very private activity beyond Kissing is prohibited between Smolrene and Phainon. This is an example.

Feel free to share other ideas in comments, if nothing comes by the end of the week, I will assume that I am free to choose how to rearrange these rules to fit our needs better.

I thank you all for your support and your previous comments, I didn't reply to everyone (I think), but I've read everything. And I will keep doing this. If everything goes well, our last moderation post about these rules will come by the end of the week to announce the new rules 2 and 8, but for that, it will require your contribution one last time!

An artist is spreading hatred and stealing work. How to react to it and support our soldiers.

A few people dmed me about the situation on twitter, and instead of eventually having people spreading frustration everywhere, I decide to make a post about it to adress the situation, and to help you know what to do.

We aren't here to spread hatred. We are here to do the right thing, so please go through the whole post.

So, here's the situation:

A twitter user has been using arts of other artists to reshape them in order to correct them into "what the lore says" using Ai, explicitly spreading hatred on ships they dislike.

This is a problem on several levels.

First, OBVIOUSLY, they are stealing artists work and use AI for it. Even without the use of Ai this is obviously not something we should accept.

Second, as much as we love our ships, unless Mihoyo explicitly shows it, all of our things remain fanon. Be it Phairene or Blazerene. So treating one as superior to another is completely wrong. Even here, I personally support the idea that we should not treat ships this way when we interact with others: we must be open minded and respectful.

It doesn't mean to like what you don't like. But to respect others'tastes.

But this person is doing things disrespectful to artists and refuses to let others have their own opinion.

What I DO NOT want you to do is to go to spam them with messages. We aren't here to insult them.

I want you to report it.

Someone made a post to address the situation on twitter,

But if you want to read it here:

Go block this user

Report them for spamm

And go support the original artists.

Especially recently when our favorite artists had been doing less Phairene works recently, let's show them our support.

And if you are one of the affected artists:

Go to → help .x.com/forms → “Help with intellectual property issues” → “I need to report possible copyright infringement” Only the copyright owner (or authorized person) can submit a valid DMCA.

If you come across such works of the same user or maybe some other user doing the same, save their post to keep them as evidence.

One last time, I do not want you to harass the user who's been doing wrong to the artists involved. This won't solve anything. It only brings fuel to the fire. Go report them, and in the difficult moments such as this, we must first and foremost support those who share our passions and only show respect and patience to those different to us.

I wish for everyone who's been aware of this situation to feel at ease. You can express your feelings on this post, and NOWHERE ELSE on the subreddit, and I again urge you to prioritize support for our soldiers over hatred toward others. As Phainon and Cyrene would say:

"Let's fight for this world we so Deeply Love."

The Deconstruction of Phainon and Cyrene: An advertisement for a philosophical post more than a throughout explanation.

I will be 100% Honest, I don't understand everything about this philosophical concept haha. But I find This post extremely interesting, so I will urge you to go read it!

And I while I can't explain everything I understood about philosophy, I can try to explain a bit of the link we can establish between this and the relationship between Phainon and Cyrene.

So TLDR:

While Phainon's actions can be considered as way more important than Cyrene's in the survival of Amphoreus or in their journey in general, Phain heavily depended on her in the most important moments of his life, reflecting the duality between Speech (Something Phainon does a lot to express himself) and Writing (Cyrene being the first author of As I've Written): Speech is supposedly superior in meaning but can't go without writing, depending on it.

..

..

To be very concise on the philosophical part, we talk about the Hierarchy in meanings between Speech and Writing.

And we could agree. Sometimes, words that are written can't express everything a speech does.

You could compare this to Phainon and Cyrene. Most of Phainon's characterization and biggest moments are done through speeches. It is his way to show who he is.

He talked to Aglaea to protect the nameless, explained his pain to Mydei, debated with Anaxa (and won mostly), guided people with his words, and before his final act against Nanook, he again gave a speech to THEM.

And for Cyrene, it is very obvious that she is the first author of As I've Written. But even if she's here as Mem, her presence doesn't feel tangible for most of the time.

However, while Speech seems more important, it really is depending on Writing.

While Phainon became a remarkable warrior, savior, and martyr, motivating everyone to follow his steps, the one behind this changes, THE FIRST PERSON who initiated this change was Cyrene, who's related to the Book and Writing.

She encouraged him to follow the path to become the deliverer, and as we see in 3.4, she was often sneaking out to bring her support and guidance to him through her words and prophecies.

And the most obvious of all, she is the one that made him initiate the Eternal Recurrence.

To be concise, Phainon's actions are undoubtedly incredibly important, but all of these are the results of the actions of a girl that made herself almost silent, patiently writing and telling the stories of her book to let her Hero carry this world.

I can hardly go further than that, and I might have even pushed a bit but I really think you should read it. A nice post as usual. Hopefully I understand the next one better lol.

23,570,001st Reccurence by kaedeyanami on twitter

Source

Context: in the previous Reccurence, while Khaslana went to face Hyacine, Hyacine told him to not let his human heart die in the flames.

So, in the next Reccurence, he stayed for a whole Reccurence in Aedes Elysiae, not chasing the coreflames most of the time in order to stay at Cyrene's grave
