Am I able to become a pharmacist/ tech heavily tatted

Hey yall, I’m 21 and I have been planning to go to school for pharmacist technician as im interested in this kinda thing and I don’t know what else to do, I’m already pretty heavily tatted on my hands fingers and neck, I’m planing on a face tat soon, this won’t change, I know it’s not the smartest idea but it’s part of my identity and I don’t want to live my life not doing what will make me happy, I’m just curious if I will ever be able to work in a pharmacy without covering up, I don’t mind covering up some tats at first but I don’t wanna have to hide who I am, what are you’re guys experience with heavily tatted pharmacists and techs? Thanks yall!

Pharmacist Job Opportunity

Dear, all knowing Redditors, I currently work at a big box store with a base of 32 hours a week at 69.95. I have been offered a 340b federal job based at 40 hours a week. The new job would be a pay cut to 62.50 hourly, but this position would qualify for PSLF. I feel like it’s probably the smart choice, however it is Mon-Friday 9-5 with 1 Saturday a month. My current schedule I’m off 3 days one week, 4 the next, and work every 3rd weekend. I do have 2 children in several activities, which this new schedule will make it significantly harder for me to get them where they need to go, let alone I will get to spend less time with them on a whole. Do I make the financially smart choice and go with the job that will save $$$ in loan forgiveness or do I forgo it for a more flexible schedule. Also, I love my team at my current job and have been here for 3 years and this new job is an unknown.

New pharmacist in a new role and wants to jump to another pharmacy

I am a new hire still on training, however, my schedule is only weekends which sucks. Commute will be an hour each way. I am now doublethinking my decision if it is right. My manager waited for a month for me as I was in vacation when I applied. Should I quit? Just wanna get some insights from you guys. I am applying to a pharmacy near my place ~20mins commute.

New pharmacist at cvs

Hi guys, I passed all my exams and I’m starting as a pharmacist at CVS. I already understand the system because I previously worked there as a technician. Do you have any advice or recommendations on how I should approach the job? What are common mistakes I should avoid, and what should I pay attention to? Are there any codes or procedures I should make sure I know? Thanks, I really appreciate it

Inpatient —> analyst

Has anyone made the switch from inpatient or any clinical role to an ehr analyst? The hospital I’m at now uses CareOne and paragon software. The role I’m applying for is for epic which I used a lot in school few years back. The pay range I’ve found is 100-150k. It’s a remote role which is primarily why I’m going after it.

Can you list the pros and cons of the transition and if you’d do it again?

Thanks in advance.

Per diem inpatient pharmacist scheduling requirements

Just trying to gage what everyone’s requirements are for per diems: for example, one weekend per month, one holiday per year, must be available 4 days per month, etc etc

Facial recognition in pharmacy

We just went live with facial recognition and it’s having us print a barcode, and do facial recognition without an option to print actual creds. Any fixes? Can’t do production or qt at this point. And is it whoever gets creds at that station they are the only one able to us it? Can you sign them out?
