Hi! I’d love to get thoughts from recent or upcoming 2027/28 brides on what realistic timeline expectations are for booking venues. More specifically, is it too late to book a good (read affordable for 50k budget and still beautiful) venue for 2028? Candidly I’m not even engaged, but have had my heart set on the year lol.
I looked at Westwynd Gardens’ availability calendar and saw that spring/summer/fall Saturdays are all booked. Just want to be realistic when I finally get engaged!

Hello! 2027 bride here and I booked my wedding at the Cameron Estate Inn in Mount Joy PA. We just received an email that they made some renovations. One update included gutting the cocktail hour space and painting it blue. I wanted to post the before and after pictures to get some opinions and warn other brides. We really loved the vintage aesthetic of the stone fireplace and the cast iron chandeliers, and loved that it was neutral. If you have any advice on how we could decorate to bring that back or if you think we should try to get out of our contract let me know
My fiancé and I are looking to do an outdoor wedding in Delaware in late August. I’m starting to have doubts about late August as it might be really hot for ourselves and our guests. One thing to note, the ceremony wouldn’t start until 6:30pm so the guests wouldn’t be sitting in the sun during the hottest hours of the day. However, we would have access to the venue at 3pm to start taking photos.
I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences with attending/having a wedding around that same time of the year in Delaware or anywhere close to the area. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I am getting married at a VERY non traditional bar in a few weeks, and the person we had hired to help out day-of has backed out 😭
I am looking for someone who can basically be at the bar a few hours before the wedding starts to make sure the decor gets placed where it needs to go, the DJ gets set up, and that no bar guests from the non-event area wander in and mess anything up before we get going. It’s nothing too crazy! it is basically set to be a super short ceremony and then a big party at our favorite almost-dive bar.
Does anyone have suggestions of where I could possibly reach out?!
