Wpuld It be a better idea to get an aftermarket screen or oem for my iphone 11 pro max?

I drew over my screen but I just broke my screen yesterday after 6 years of owning it. I was wondering if it would be a better idea to get an aftermarket screen or oem. The shop I called quoted me $79 for aftermarket and $149 for oem. Let me know what you guys think. I’m planning on buying the 18 when it comes out cause I’ve been needing an upgrade anyways but I always keep my old phones, I don’t do trade ins.

Tempered Glass Panel Shatters Itself

Had this panel from a Deepcool CC560 sitting on that box for 40 mins and it shattered without anything touching it. Im thinking it has something to do with hot and cold air, my guess is as good as yours.

At least I didnt fall victim to a hardwood floor.

Can you get photos off a broken phone?

Hello! I was recently going through some photos of mine and realized theres a big chunk missing from when I had my old phone that was destroyed almost a year ago!
alot of those photos mean a lot to me, because I like to reminisce but I have no idea how to get them off the phone! it barely turns on and doesnt really work at all.

Does anyone know how to get photos off of an iPhone that is basically unusable?

OnePlus 7T replaced screen stays white

Replaced my OnePlus 7T screen with a new one (a cheap one to be fair). When starting the phone, the screen flickers for about 2 seconds and then goes blank white. Had the battery charging for quite a while now.

Soft reset only leads to flickering and then blank white again (no OnePlus logo etc.). Locking the screen doesn't work either, it just stays white.

I googled but couldn't figure out whether this is a OnePlus specific thing or if it's android related or just another damaged part that I'm not aware of.

Very thankful for any kind of help!

Condensation water in front Camera of OnePlus 15

Hey guys, after washing my phone under flowing water in the faucet, I discovered water droplets inside the front facing camera. Is this something to worry about? Because of the IP69 certification I thought it should handle this without any issues.

Sending a broken Xiaomi to Amazon for repair – should I be worried about my data?

I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro with a completely broken screen. The phone itself still works: it receives calls, alarms go off, so I'm pretty sure it's still functioning normally. I just can't interact with it because the display is unusable.

I need to send it to Amazon for repair, and I have a question about data security.

First, I marked the phone as lost using Find My Device and sent the command to erase all data. As far as I understand, the wipe will only happen once the phone connects to the internet. It wasn't connected to Wi-Fi when the screen broke, so I don't think the erase has happened yet.

I also removed the phone from my banking app, so I assume that, without my credentials, it wouldn't be easy for anyone to access my bank account.

That said, the phone still contains other personal and sensitive data. Before I send it in for repair, is there anything else I should do? Am I missing any important precautions?

Or am I worrying more than necessary? Realistically, how concerned should I be about someone at a repair center attempting to access the phone, especially my banking app or other personal data?

Phone charging extremely slowly

idk where to put this, but basically my phone randomly started charging extremely slowly. it used to get to 80% before midnight while I was on it no problem. Now ill get off of it and go to sleep at around 11-midnight, and when I wake up it’s not even past 75%. I’ve had it on low power mode because the battery will actually go down while I’m charging it and on it if it’s not. It’s not an issue with the cable, I don’t think, I‘ve got it on my sister’s charger while writing this and it’s gone up 1% in 15 minutes. battery health is at 83% according to settings. Any ideas on the issue and if so, can I fix it myself ?

How do I save my phone?

I am in my early teens and just got a hand-me-down Realme Narzo 70x that doesn't detect sim cards or with negligible signal, sometimes turns off when the screen is closed and I have to hold the power button for 30 seconds for it to magically wake up and only recently stopped taking charge and is now dead.

I have a ncc camp in like a week i have tried everything tech store to just make it work but I just got scammed.

Is there anything I can do accept nokia keypad as my fate?

Transfer data from a phone with a broken screen

My Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G fell on concrete, and i broke the display. I'm pretty sure the phone itself still works, because I can feel it vibrate when I unlock it with my fingerprint, but the screen stays completely black.

Is there a way i can transfer my data onto my pc, or create a backup, anything just to save my photos. I tried plugging an usb to my pc, but i think i need to accept something on my phone to access it because nothing shows up in my file explorer. I have usb debugging on, because i remember i enabled it when the phone was still working.

When i plug it into my pc, nothing new shows up in the device manager, it's not the pc or the cables fault, because i tried with another phone and it showed up instantly after accepting the pop up. I have another working phone A53, so maybe i can use it somehow because the UI is pretty similiar.

What else can i try?
