Someone please tell me how to do apply effect.

I'm trying to learn to how apply effect like in the image above. I tried applying halftone effect but it doesn't look anything like the one in the image, then I tried risograph using threshold, and burn tool. The result is the second image. Getting somewhere but still don't like how it's turning out. Someone please point me in the right direction or direct me to a tutorial video.

I built PixCraft, an AI photo editor for Android — looking for honest feedback

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on PixCraft, an AI-powered photo editor for Android, and I’d love to get some honest feedback from the AI community.

It currently includes tools like:

• AI Face Swap

• AI Headshot

• AI Avatar

• AI Background Removal

• AI Photo Enhancement

• AI Travel & Cosplay effects

• AI Time Travel

• 50+ photo editing and creative tools

I’m still actively improving it, so I’m especially interested in feedback on:

- AI result quality

- Which features are actually useful

- UI/UX

- Features you think are missing

If you try it, I’d really appreciate honest feedback — positive or negative.

Thanks!

Parsec and Photoshop

I'm using Parsec to remote into my MAC Mini at the office. I'm struggling with my brushes in Photoshop. They are not accurate/precise. I've upgrade to "Warp" I'm not sure if this something I have to live with or if there is a setting I'm not aware of changing. Any help or suggestions are mush appreciated. Attach is a sample. See the line around the dot. That should be the brush size. When I'm in the office it is correct. THX

how can I achieve this type of editing?

Hi everyone!!! I’m trying to learn how to achieve this kind of editing (reference image attached).

I’m especially interested in the overall color treatment, contrast, texture, and that kind of dreamy/processed look. I’d also like to be able to create different versions using different color palettes, rather than just recreating the exact colors from the reference.

I’ve been experimenting with Photoshop and Lightroom, but I can’t quite figure out how to get this type of result.

Does anyone know how this kind of edit is done, or what techniques/tools I should look into?

Any tips, tutorials, or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Are there any photo editing apps besides PS, that do not require a subscription?

I am trying to create a logo, or idea to put onto a challenge coin. I have lots of ideas, and images to sort through and arrange into ideas but I only know the old school way....paper and pencil. What I am looking for is maybe a program or software, where I can take an idea or say, find a photo image from online, find a subject in that image, then crop it just so to use on another photo, use a transparency tool to blend both together, take other cropped out images or shapes from another photo, arrange into a circle, put some lettering, wham bam boom. I have too many ideas to just sketch out on paper and detail and only so much time to do it till deadline. I am new to Photoshop. I have a copy of PS7 but since then, software and updates have changed over the years I doubt it will work with Windows 11. I wonder if Windows 11 has any apps I can buy without a subscription. Ugh, subscriptions
