Which single episode of a show felt like a feature film? For me, it’s "On the inside", TWD 11x06.
The episode "On the Inside" completely blew me away. It felt so detached from the usual TWD style and leaned 100% into pure, unfiltered horror.
I wish horror movies out there were this good!
The vibes here are so perfect! Claustrophobic, unsettling, and genuinely horrifying. The direction and cinematography made the house feel like its own breathing monster, and the actors were incredible. It's crazy how they communicated raw panic without needing words.
(Massive shoutout to Kevin Carroll btw, I love him so much in The Leftovers).
Watching those feral people crawling through the air ducts and walls was top-tier cinema imo. I genuinely wish they had expanded this exact concept into a full standalone movie.
This entire episode creeps me out and lives rent free in my head since the first time I watched it!
