is my carb on correctly, my bike wont stay running

is my carb on correctly, my bike wont stay running

everytime like 20 kicks the bike turns on it stays on for a little bit while revving super high, and then shuts off after 5-10 seconds of revving itself, even when i try to give it throttle it just bogs and sounds like its dying i used this same carb on another bike and it ran perfectly fine so it doesnt need tuning

would this be the reason my bike wont start

thats the bolt to my manifold to where i put on the carb, it screws in perfectly but theres a little gap on the side even when its fully tightened, i havent rode in 6 weeks, tried multiple spark plugs, tried 2 different wiring harnesses. and every time i kick it over it sounds like its about to start but just gives a tiny pop and shuts off

A quick test ride on my modified (dirt)bike

It's actually a 250cc dirt bike converted into a pit bike—fitted with street wheels, upgraded brakes, and a quieter exhaust. I plan to ride it on Supermoto and go-kart tracks. It makes for excellent training! 😁

Dropped screw in engine, am I screwed?

I was taking the screw out because I needed to adjust the lash and it had fell into the valve I’m pointing at. I tried to get it out, but I just knocked it deeper. I can’t find the screw anywhere. And I don’t know what to do. also, now that we are on the topic of setting the lash I was also wondering if anybody had any tips because I have all the tools and I found top that center, but no matter what it either has too much or too little compression and I do not want to hear that the exhaust or set the intake to blah blah blah because no matter what I set it to it will not work. It will get to the point where it’s not even loose yet it still has too much compression.

crf110 oil starvation help

I have a 2026 crf110
I've read in a few places that they are prone to oil starvation when doing wheelies or hill climbs because the oil pick up is too far forward in the case.
I've ordered an oil pump kit that bypasses the oem pick up and uses a plastic tube to pick oil up from further back in the case.
Currently this is the only kit available online.
Seems obvious that even intermittent oil starvation will drastically reduce engine life.

I have a few questions:

has anyone running a standard pick up noticed
premature engine wear/failure?

has anyone else used the plastic tube oil pump kit? reviews??

has anyone managed to mod the original oil pump to do the same thing? Using an aluminium tube like the beardopumps kit (out of stock at the moment).

is there another work around? like running a larger volume of oil without causing any other issues?

thoughts on bypassing the mesh screen for the oem pickup? like all of these oil pump mods do.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
It would be awesome to get some consistent evidence and advice from anyone familiar with these bikes.

Dirt Bike / Pit Bike

Here's a look at the mods I've done to my 250... I'm really curious to see how it handles. Tomorrow, we're hitting the go-kart track!

New cdi not working right

I got this adjustable rev limit cdi for my bike and it will only work when I put the dip buttons in any of the “racing mode” configurations (see 2nd picture)

Whenever I try to put it on one of the rev limiter modes it just sputters and backfires when I try to start it. Anyone know how to fix that?

Also does anyone know if it still has a rev limiter in “racing mode” maybe it’s just a lot higher like 10k rpm’s or something? Thanks.

Is this coolster or a mega moto cause the guy on fb marketplace listed it as coolster 110 but it clearly seems to be a 80cc

Coolster QG-214S wiring oddities (voltage regulator maybe?)

Hi, I've been working on this Coolster QG 214S and had it running for a while, then it blew the CDI box (which is what was wrong with it when it came to me). The voltage regulator for these seems to be 4 pin but there's no 4 pin plug on the harness. There's a 5 pin that's empty that goes to this odd little circular plug above the front sprocket. Is that where the voltage regulator is supposed to go on these? If so, anyone have a part number or anything?

Front Forks Help

Bought a second hand Atomix 50cx motorbike for my son in poor condition. It’s meant to be a clone of the PW50 bikes, so bought the front forks online. Just wondering if I can get something to fill this gap here to that I can tighten the head stem, like a spacer? Or just go and hunt the correct front forks?

Thanks in advance.

Chinese pit bike too light on the rear.

Hi, I have mrf 140 sm pitbike. It's like the IMR or SYMOTO.

Today for the first time I tried yamah yz 65 converted to supermoto. Same tires brand and compound.

The Yamaha was noticeably more stable. Every time I fall with my bike is because the rear tire lost traction. Here with the Yamaha there was no such issue. And I was even more aggressive with it.

Did you noticed that the rear is too light on the Chinese bikes. And how can you fix it.

(SAG is measured and it is correct)
