The Pittie Pose - a classic 🤗

Pitties seem to have more signature poses than most other breeds, aside from the sploot (which they excel at) they also have so many character poses, like the “pittie sit” or the “upside down pittie” or the “WTF pittie look”…

If your pittie has a “classic” pose, please share 🤗

Hydro Therapy

Benni is doing really well. This is his second hydro therapy and already doesn’t need any assistance other than a few treats as motivation. This is a happy smile and daddy loves it

💜 Volunteer Notes:

We were not able to meet Tiana #A2082366. If you're interested in helping us meet the animals, please message us!

📝 Shelter Notes:

6/21 Intake: Tiana and another dog were reportedly left behind by hotel guests after an eviction. They were found confined in a cage inside a heavily soiled hotel room.

6/23: Tiana vocalized constantly throughout the day but was easy to leash and walked well on a loose leash. Once back in her kennel, she continued vocalizing, panting heavily, and salivating. Staff noted these behaviors appeared to be stress-related and placed her on the adoption evaluation list.

6/25: Tiana greeted staff at the front of her kennel with a soft wagging tail when spoken to. She was easily leashed and walked calmly on a loose leash to the runs. She greeted staff again with another soft wagging tail before walking easily back into her kennel.

🚑 Medical Notes:

• Heartworm positive (low positive)
• Lick granulomas on her front paws (no treatment needed)
• Approximately 31 pounds
• Received vaccines, dewormer, and flea prevention

💜 Although the shelter environment has clearly been overwhelming for her, Tiana consistently shows a gentle, social personality. Tiana has already experienced the heartbreak of being abandoned. She deserves the chance to leave the shelter behind and find the loving home she's been waiting for.

Our rescue dog, Chase, was diagnosed with a thyroid tumor. We're doing everything we can to get him the surgery he needs.

Hi everyone,

This is really hard for us to write because we're usually the ones trying to figure things out on our own.

In January 2022, we adopted Chase after an incredible local rescue volunteer helped trap him and give him a chance at a new life. We don't know much about his life before that, but from the moment he came home with us, he became family.

For the last few years, he's been our shadow. He's greeted us every morning, followed us around the house, joined us on walks, and reminded us every day what unconditional love looks like.

After several vet visits and testing, we learned that Chase has a thyroid tumor.

The good news is that his veterinary team believes surgery gives him the best chance at a long, happy life. The difficult part is the cost.

A wonderful neighbor encouraged us to create a GoFundMe to help with his surgery expenses. Asking for help isn't easy, but Chase has given us so much love over the past few years that we have to do everything we can for him.

If you're able to donate, thank you. If you're not, we'd be just as grateful if you could upvote, share, or keep Chase in your thoughts. Every bit of support helps.

Thank you for reading and for caring about our boy. 💙

12 days post TPLO

My Benni is only 12 days post TPLO surgery. Just started his Hydro therapy Wednesday and has had two laser treatments so far.

Going to be a long ride but can’t wait for him to be right again.
