CHIRPS Fantasy Soundtrack Vol. II Release Show

Hazel Grove Brewing, 8:30 PM, FREE, ALL AGES

Compilation release with Alexander Meander, CosineVi, Flower Ranger & Friends, and Satyr/Elfheim — ambient and instrumental leaning. There are tabletop RPGs going on alongside the music, which is a first for me too.

Darkroom w/ Faerie Fey, Bedlamboy and guest Aconite

Pittsburgh's goth, industrial and dark alt dance night. Residents Faerie Fey and Bedlamboy with guest DJ Aconite — darkwave and EBM on the floor.

Paul Fleetwood and uVu on a deep and minimal tip. Free house and techno on a Friday is not a bad deal.

Eight hours of hard dance: happy hardcore, hard techno, gabber, drum & bass and jungle. MARZ, n0OneimpOrtant, ramenbr0th, sophsick, shartchan, GOkibstarGO, mindctrlweapon, then Drucifer b2b Arekusa to close. Manifest Sound System and Stray Rave Krew among the organizers, and the only 18+ door of the weekend.

Steel City Bass: Dino Divas

All-femme bass night from Bass Buddies with RLYHOT, Drucifer, Lexa Terrestrial, Cnara, Psychohippiee and Summuz. Dubstep and drum & bass, free entry.

PGXC presents County Conservation District's "Nomad Music" release across two parts. Part I at Collapse (12:30–5 PM) has Dittocrush, Ten Cent Man, Holden Wolf and Virtua DX (both Baltimore), plus CCD playing the album in full. Part II at 318 Harmar (7:30–11 PM, DM for address) has Swampwalk, The Universe Online, Sherry CD ROM, Lbs., Screen Recording aka christtt and a CCD ambient set. Visuals by Nasty Taxi at both.

Anti Phase: Kindling Mary's, 7:00 PM, $15 door, 21+ Experimental electronic and performance night with Heather Harper, Cecropia and XC-17, lighting by Cyberemesis and Otherworld. The odd one out on this list in the best way.

Heatwave: Afro-Caribbean Third Saturdays Spirit, 10:00 PM-2:00 AM, tickets on Eventbrite, price not listed, 21+ The monthly Afro-Caribbean party at Spirit Lodge: afrobeats, dancehall, soca, amapiano and kompa.
