I'm looking for people to add me.

I'm only looking for adults to play with, I don't care if it's a man or a woman. Because lately I've only been connecting with bots, accounts that sell porn, or weirdos. And it's even worse in the chat rooms: just spam or people asking for auras, even though there are already specific rooms for that. If you're interested, add me; my Plato ID is: LALO_H

Ferobite + Stage Selection

I really think Ferobite needs to be at least 6 mana, especially when it’s being played in Talon Labs and paired with Slickity. What’s the point of playing the game if one player can effectively stop the other person from doing anything every round?
I also think the second player should get to pick the stage, not the first player. Right now, if you’re playing Talon Labs, the first player already gets a pretty significant advantage: they get first pick of the monster, they choose the stage, they get the extra 5 HP, AND their round gets the electrified tiles. That’s a lot of advantages stacked onto going first.
And I completely agree with whoever suggested that Ranked should strictly be Stadium with no stage modifiers. That would make ranked games feel much more consistent and competitive. I’d be fine with the one extra move from being paired with 4+ staying, since that feels more like a core game mechanic rather than a stage-specific advantage.
Overall, I think these changes would make matches feel a lot less luck-dependant and give the second player a more meaningful chance to respond.

There are other monster whom I also think need an upgrade or increase in mana requirements

Plato should work on these things

Plato should work on these things
1. Cloud chat history
One thing that really concerns me is losing my chats after logging out. It would be great if Plato had cloud-based chat storage, so our conversations stay saved even after logging out or switching devices, similar to how other social apps handle chat history.
2. Gifting profile items
It would also be nice to have a proper gifting system for profile items, especially animated PFPs. For example, if someone already owns an animated item, they could gift it to another user. ( to implement in artrade)
I think both of these would make Plato much better, especially for people who have been using it for a long time.

Thoughts on the new 2v2 ranked season?

Do you prefer this or just single player? I think single player will always be better, but this is a nice change (besides how annoying it gets sometimes when your partner leaves without resigning).

Tournament style Match Monster format? Thoughts?

So I've been thinking, on top of playing regular ranked games, wouldn't it be cool if the game developers introduced a tournament knockout bracket game mode. In this game mode players would play until one of the players reaches two wins first...that player then advances to the next round. Since there are so many ranked Match Monster players, this would be a pretty large tournament bracket. But in the end an overall winner will eventually be crowned and this player would be recognized as "The Best Match Monster player" of that current season.

Is Match Monsters mostly luck or skill?

Personally, I don't think it's completely luck-based but there's a lot of chance involved. In other games like archery and pool, it would be very difficult to win if you're still new. But in match monsters if you just know how the game works (matching and evolving) then you can win very easily as a complete newbie. Many times people with less "skill" win just because they had lucky matches. It's kind of frustrating honestly (but it's still fun lol). What do you guys think?

Plato Chess is engine-friendly

A player created an account about a week ago and is already #1 in Plato Chess, sitting around 200 rating points above everyone else.

I even played against it 12 times in different variations to make sure. bullet players basicly do not play like engines.

Even 3500+ bullet players on other platforms do not play like this. We play fast, creative, aggressive chess. We take risks, we create our own ideas, and we make human mistakes. We play self-made gambits that an engine would punish in 10–15 moves.

That is what real bullet chess looks like.

What is happening on Plato is different. Someone can simply use an engine, gain hundreds of rating points, and jump ahead of talented players who have spent years improving their skills.

I understand that cheating happens in many online games, but chess is different. Chess players spend years studying openings, tactics, strategy, and endgames. People dedicate a huge part of their lives to becoming better. Watching someone with no real skill or effort use an engine and instantly take the top ranking is a complete failure of fairplay.

Plato needs to understand that competitive chess depends on trust. If the leaderboard can be conquered by anyone with an engine, then honest players have no reason to keep playing.

I know very strong players(GMs included) in the top 5 rankings who have Lichess bullet ratings around 2800–3100, yet many of them stop playing when they realize that engine users can simply appear and rank above them.

I reported the issue to Plato support, but I have received no response after a week.

Hypes from August Sale not working?

I bought the August Sale bundle that included 20,000 Hypes, stickers, and coins. The stickers and coins were added to my account, but the 20,000 Hypes don’t seem to be working. My profile views are staying the same and not increasing and i have bought hypes separately before, and they worked as expected but the hypes included in this sale bundle don’t seem to have any effect. Is anyone else having the same issue?
