About a year ago I was gifted my dream Tidus playarts figure. All I ever wanted. Recently unboxed, as at the time of my receiving this gift I was in the process of moving. I got Yuna as well. Finally unboxed both of them today.
Anyways, Playarts have this stupid way of packaging these figures(I have cloud as well)jamming all their damn joints and moveable parts with little sheets of plastic. Yuna was difficult, but doable- and I was able to set her up.
Tidus was a nightmare. I was not pulling very hard; however, the plastic nagged and ripped both Sides of Tidus’ leather skirt thingy. It completely ruined the fake leather bottom and somehow the leg joints got screwed up. When I tried to twist it and work it out, the torso disconnected from the hips with a pop and now will not pop back in. I’m devastated and not sure what to do. A new one is so expensive. Is it salvageable?

As far as I know, there aren’t any bootlegs for this figure but these listing lead me to believe that there are now, right?

KH4 got a late 2027 release window, so it got me thinking what the next KH figure will be. Play Arts Shin Sora is a given and I suspect it will get announced next year. My realistic expectation is Riku, as usual ,but my dream is to finally get Mickey, Donald and Goofy in Kai/Shin scale.

What are your realistic expectations and wildest dreams about new figures?

I planned on getting this cloud because it’s cheaper than the ones I normally see but idk if it’s fake. The main things are the no red triangle and the “PIAY ARTS” instead of “PLAY ARTS” sorry if it’s obvious I don’t really collect figures.

So I am new to Square Figures mostly due to cost and an aversion to the figure scale but I bit the bullet on the Structure Arts Cloud Strife and I really liked it. I was surprised by how easily it went together and I preferred how it looked and articulated compared to the play arts Cloud which seemed to be much less liked. I know it isn’t a play arts kai but was unsure where to put it, hope you like my paint job.

The hair tips of my Sora version 2 crashed with a stone and the brown tip of the part behind his head fell off, does anyone know how I could repair it? Painting it or building that tiny part? any advice?
