Virgin Media 'news article' is gross

Got a notification from virgin media as to how people want to upgrade because of GTA VI

Firstly saying research shows people are sitting on SEVEN unused consoles - maybe the top few %, but certainly that's not an average.

My biggest gripe and what I hope people don't fall for is selling a PS5 for £160, when one of the easiest routes is selling to CEX if you don't sell on your own, getting double.

The whole 'article' just annoyed me, lol.

hi, so my PS5 just arrived and it makes this rattling noise when i turn it on. It's only on the home screen so the fan should be running at its lowest speed. Does this noise get louder when playing games and is it normal? I'm considering returning it and getting a replacement if it's not

by the way the noise is only noticeable when the device is standing vertically

PS5 age verify by phone number not working

I've been trying to verify by phone number so I can get access to messages but I put my number in (UK) and even after several hours I don't get a text message - I've been trying all week.

Really disappointed with Sony's general service at the moment, I've had a PS3 since I was a kid and this is something every other company can get right, I've never had an issue with verify by phone yet Sony can't get something this simple correct.

I don't trust them with my id so I want to verify by phone number.

Gamerium exit scam. Today the site and customer support email has been shut down. For those with Gamerium orders in the works its probably time to contact your bank and fill out the fraud report (as I have done this morning). Commiserations on everyones below market ps5 pros

Beware Gamerium

If anyone has an order in with Gamerium.co.uk, then I’m sorry to say they’ve gone dark and I think they’ve run off with our money. Website gone, emails being bounced back undeliverable as server doesn’t exist etc.
I should have listened to my gut, but reviews here and elsewhere online seemed legit. Thank goodness for the consumer protections afforded by credit cards!

Edit - I have been advised that the .co.uk is now .org - all may not be lost! So in fairness to them I will place this edit here, and add further if communication with the new domain name is successful. If only customers had been told…

Is there any reason to switch from PC gaming to console?

I’ve got a nice PC. Besides the delayed GTA VI release is there any actual benefit to console gaming over PC?
I had a PS5 on release but later solid it as the PS store literally had no games - it was basically just the standard run of the mil fortnight fifa and call of duty slop. Is it still the same? 25 year old man here who has gotten very bored of the re-skinned games.
