PlayerAuctions seller recovered my Fortnite account after 1.5 months. Has anyone else experienced this?

I bought a Fortnite account on PlayerAuctions from a seller with a great reputation and many positive reviews. Everything worked fine for about 1.5 months, but then the account was suddenly recovered by the original owner, and I completely lost access.

This feels like a scam. The seller gets paid, waits until the warranty period is over, and then takes the account back. If that's what happened, it's very unfair to buyers.

Has anyone else experienced this on PlayerAuctions?

Did PlayerAuctions help you recover your money or account?

I think PlayerAuctions should investigate and ban sellers who repeatedly recover accounts after selling them, because this hurts buyers and damages trust in the marketplace.

If you've had a similar experience, please share what happened and how you handled it.

Please dont buy from this seller he used an ip based email when its a private so he changed everything back why these people scam?

Account was reclaimed by original owner. I lost the dispute but I purchased the year of after sale protection. I acquired new evidence hoping it will be enough to prove that the seller reclaimed the account. How long does it take for support to respond?

It no longer makes sense to sell on PlayerAuctions

I had my first dispute. The buyer played for a few days, and I had the account locked through the email (the buyer locked the account through the email). Now, when I unlock it, they will have access to the account.

PlayerAuctions simply offered him a refund, just like that. On top of that, it takes 7 days to receive payment, and the fees are high. On the competing platform, it's much cheaper and only takes 5 days.

I asked the buyer to return my account because I was afraid of being banned by PlayerAuctions. I'll never sell on this site again. If the buyer requests a refund, you risk being banned while the buyer keeps your account and gets their money back.

DONT buy from player auctions

Player auctions is a complete scam. I bought an account from a seller. The account then didnt sork, so the seller gave me an account that was completely different, so I didnt even get the account I wanted. Then that account went on to not work. The seller fixed it and I used it for a day. It just so happens the account email was then changed from mine to someone elses. I opened a dispute with pa and escalated it because surely the fact tgat I dont have a working account would mean I get a refund. No. I didnt even get a little compensation. Stay away from player auctions. Worst site out there.

I guess I was just about to get scammed

Some guy sent link ends with vercel app

The site asked me to change my email and verify. Seemed legit to me.

I logged in to my riot account. Wrote the email he asked and saved.

But I never sent the code that needed to change mail.

I logged in to my riot account now and everything seems fine. Email hasn't changed and i changed my password just in case.

So is my acc safe now?

Guess I got scammed

AyubTheDemon sold me a $300 Fortnite account. Login info is no good. I need email verification code to login. Password is wrong for epic account. If the number one seller on there for Fortnite accounts is doing this then I assume the whole site is a scam.

It's been 3 hours and still no reply.

Should I start a dispute or do I have to wait for AyubTheDemon to respond
