How did I go from no Plotter to two in less than a month?

Got the M5 first as my EDC then the bible size followed real fast. I always thought I’d hate the ring system for planner, but it has really grown on me. Love the flexibility and customization of the system. I think the bible size will definitely be my main planner for next year instead of the Hobonichi weeks.

I got both of them pre-loved but still in great condition! Might get an A5 from Mee-Plus for my commonplace since they offer bigger ring size.

I’ve been experimenting with different ways to securely attach my iPad Mini inside my A5 MeePlus binder that still allows it to be removed as needed. I think I’ve finally found the solution. I wanted to post this in case anyone else was interested in doing a similar mod. I used only the back plate of an Elago case (Amazon for around $25 USD) and attached the plate using double sided 3M tape. The iPad itself can be easily removed from the binder when it’s not needed. I love the end result of having a nice, clean, minimalistic solution where all of my items are self contained within one binder when moving from one work meeting to another or sitting in a coffee shop catching up. It’s also super convenient as an Ereader when I want to read and take notes in my binder at the same time. The binder in these pictures is an A5 MeePlus Bridle with 16mm rings.

My wife and I are enjoying an evening on the porch with a glass of wine. I pulled out my PLOTTER from my pocket and thought maybe people would want to see how I use it as a wallet. Here it is, the Mini 5 as a wallet and used for quick notes, lists and ideas:

I bought a plotter in Japan in Feb and love it but thought the rings were kind of stiff. Recently it’s been impossible to open and I notice that the tabs are at the top and bottom are a bit floppy unlike
My Meeplus rings (think they’re both Krause rings). I have emptied it and took everything out when it could get it open but I’m using an insane amount of force to try get it open. Anyone have any advice or do I need to get it repaired?

It’s bit of a nightmare because I’m not in Japan or the US so can’t just bring it to the store. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much 🙏

So I got my plotter and figured I'd show off my setup! I'm sure it's simple compared to a lot of yalls but...

I have a felt liner I cut out for the inside to help cushion the rings and give it a bit of strength. I have the fastener case, but I cut one side off because it was a bit too bulky for me with its zippers! I took a small bookmark and punched holes in it/cut it so I can easily put it on the corresponding day and open it. I also took the back of one of the refills and cut it so it acts as a lifter for my page to comfortably write on!

Do yall have any suggestions, since I'm new to plotters in general 👀
