A couple weeks ago i was crafting jewells with 1 additiona prefix, the desecrated the last prefix, then chaos spam to remove the "Add 1 prefix modifier" and finally addin the 60% increase effect of prefix.

Today i tried the same method but i bricked likr 5 jewells.

Did i misss something or this got fixed/nerfed?

How do I get the extra suffix on this

This is an absolute frankenstein craft. Had many bricked crafts on this before just making so many mistakes. This final craft I started off rolling for T1 elemental, got the lightning, then tried to desecrate a blocker so I could whittle but fkd up essence of battle and just desecrated on top of it. I also socketed serle's triumph way too early and then learned you couldn't remove it.

Revealed and got T2 attack speed. Then I just tilt slammed perfect exalt with greater exaltation and hit this after blowing like 800div. Put it on and it actually brought whirling assault dps from 68k to 92k but is there any way to get a decent +1 suffix or am I just cooked

Recombinator not letting me combine Fire resistance with an abyssal Socket.

I was trying to get Fire resistance and an abysal socket on a syndicate Garb.
At first i had an isolated Socket and a base with isolated Fire resistance but after selecting the mods the recombinate button was greyed out without providing an explanation.
Using unpredictable gave me a one mod item, i presume because these are both suffixes.
So i thought maybe i need more affixes (i can't wrap my head around recombinators tbh).
but it is still not letting me combine the two mods:

But The abyssal Socket is compatible with other Suffixes:

Please help i may be too stupid for this.

Edit:
I don't know why but now with another pair it works:

How to go about crafting on this:

https://preview.redd.it/0kg24tuh67kh1.png?width=367&format=png&auto=webp&s=e41b9e468a80d7a2c88eec61f1a70c575bb0f3c4

Hi reddit,

I was wondering if anyone had some ideas on how to craft an item. Its my first time crafting really this league as I usually just use trade and I've been away for years so I don't know much other than Parandus league days of crafting.

I am playing a Life stacking occultist with crit incinerate of venting build with burden of shadows. The stats I need primarily for this ring will be t1 Life, and anything that grants me more life so strength possibly as well. I'm wondering what crazy things I can do as well. I heard there's a recombobulator or something to smash stuff together so could I get a % life roll from an incursion ring merged into this with the t1 life roll? If so how would I got about doing it :)

So far I've been crafting on a budget but seeing as this is my last item I really wanna look at till end of league I will put everything into it!

Thanks guys for any help! :)

[RoA] Landed this fracture last night

Curious as to what its worth, exceptional base, quality up to 30% and perfect crit fracture. I dont have near enough currency to finish it so would like to sell.

If it wasn't clear enough here are crafting steps:

1.Buy white exceptional Bases iLvl 82 for 20d each

  1. Quality up to 30% using the infusers sell the losers

  2. Perfect augment/annul until t1 crit chance

  3. Perfect regal

  4. Desecrate, fracture, and Pray

Help me understand the crafting and gearing behind this build

Hey fellow exiles!

I want to recreate a build I found, but obviously I can't realistically get the exact same items the original creator has. What I would really like to learn is what stats actually make the build work, which ones are essential, and how I can craft similar items myself.

I'm currently running POE2 0.5 Navira's Frozen Popcorn Build. Shoutout to CamaroniNCheez for making the build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGcGztS6ISE

He has since updated the build. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYtKRPbH03I

In the old version, he used Ice Nova to create the Frozen Ground, which he then pops with Navira. In the newer version, he uses a pet with Trail of Ice to create the Frozen Ground and then pops the ice with Navira instead.

For single target, he uses Kelari, and that has been working reasonably well for me so far.

I'm not interested in simply buying the finished gear. I'm not rich enough for that, and honestly, I'd much rather learn how the items are made and work toward crafting them myself.

My main problem is that I don't really know which stats I should be targeting or how to realistically get them.

For example, I've tried rolling helmets with normal currency, but I haven't managed to hit +2 to Minions. I did find one with +2, but unfortunately it's only ilvl 50 and I'm currently level 69. Nice.

I've also had basically no luck getting +Minion levels on the sceptres. For the sceptres, I'm not particularly bothered about the spell they come with — I'd happily use any Shrine sceptre if that's a good base for this build, since I don't care about having a useful spell on it and the extra flexibility for resistances would be much more valuable to me.

So what I'm really looking for is something along these lines:

  • What are the important stats on each item for this build?
  • Which stats are mandatory/core for the build to function properly?
  • Which stats are just nice upgrades that I can worry about later?
  • What kind of item level/base should I be looking for before I start crafting?
  • How do I actually craft the important modifiers rather than just throwing random currency at items?
  • Are there particular essences, omens, reforges, fractures, etc. that make sense for these items?
  • If getting +2 Minions on a helmet is extremely rare, is there a more sensible crafting strategy than simply spamming currency until it appears?
  • For the sceptres, what should I actually be looking for if I don't care about the granted spell? Is a Shrine sceptre a good starting point?
  • What stats should I prioritize on the sceptres besides the +Minion levels?

Most importantly, I'd like to know what I should be farming for so I can gradually improve my gear instead of wasting currency on things that aren't useful.

Basically, I'm trying to understand both the crafting path, and why this specific finished item.

If the original build has, for example, +2 Minions / X / Y / Z on the helmet, I'd like to know:

"You need +2 because of X. Y is important because of Z. Start with this base at this ilvl, use this currency to target X, then once you hit it, do this to get Y."

The same goes for the sceptres and the other important pieces.

I want to be able to look at an item drop and know "this is worth keeping because I can craft toward my goal", rather than just looking for an item that already has all the right stats.

I'm basically looking for someone to teach me how to build toward his build, rather than tell me to go buy his build.

FYI: I used to play a bit of PoE during 2020-2022 and now I came back for PoE 2. Back then I used to simply copy a build and follow it as hard as I can without much thought. As I wanted to start crafting items, I got told by all my friends that it's not worth my time and I should just buy it. Now I want to try a different approach.

Crafting Life and Max Res Jewels

Hey Crafting community !

I'm currently working on my SSF Build (Bleed Slam Slayer) and the next step are Jewels.

I take a look and realise Bench Craft and Recomb dont work on jewels so craft seem hard with limited ressources.

My targets are :

https://preview.redd.it/m8n8fydv96kh1.png?width=350&format=png&auto=webp&s=1409177a2ed790fed46565e45d7fe06290ee3ad9

with either Max Fire/Lightning/Cold

i target at least % max life and % max res, last 2 mods are bonus
Viridian/Crimson/Cobalt is influancing weight on Fire/Lightning/Cold

Solutions i think are
- AltSpam for Max Res then Augment/Regal Allflame Boat
- Harvest Reforge Fire/Lightning/Cold (1/700)

I would like your advice on it, thx and kiss :)

How to finish this craft

Building an Endurance stacking Lightning Tendrils build and am stuck on the prefixes. My goal is not crazy, I just want 1 of the following:

- (+) Levels to lightning skills (preferable)

- Damage penetrates elemental resistance

- Elemental Damage gained as chaos

As well as an open prefix to craft spell damage. The phys as fire we'll get rid of. Is there a deterministic way to do this? I've been trying suffixes cannot be changed -> reforge lightning but the attack mods are far too common and I can brick the item by filling prefixes. HC Trade btw if that matters for crafting costs.

Flame link luminary no light radius stacking

Hi All,

Was rolling memory strands and frustrated with my low rolls I alchemied this talisman to start horticrafting rolling for life, not sure this is worth crafting more for my character as I don't currently care for stats (supreme ostentation). Is there a best way forward for some sort of profit here? My plan was level skill + fire skill and max life as prefixes recomb originally to use. Now kind of lost on how to use this. Closest of this particular talisman on trade is 100 div without open suffix or prefix and worse rolls, but I'm doubtful their price is accurate as a couple of other options look around 20 div. Or if you have insight on to a build that would like this I'll go check some poe ninjas for ideas.

First time crafting triple elemental quarterstaff

Hi I hit this 3 socket base with the fracture on T1 crit and first perfect exalt hit T1 critbonus.

I want to craft a weapon from myself (trinity whirling monk) what are the steps I should take now?

Should I continue to chaos spam for a T1 elemental damage and then perfect exalt/annul or can is there a good way to continue now when I already hit the T1 crit bonus?

RF Chieftain amulet craft

I have a magic amulet with fractured +1 all skill gems and 26% DoT multi. I’m pretty sure about the steps I need to take to continue crafting, but wanted someone to look it over in case I overlooked anything.

  1. Beast lock and regal for prefix
  2. Craft suffixes cannot be changed and scour prefix
  3. Craft in order: a) can have up to 3 crafted mods b) suffixes cannot be changed c) adds # to # fire damage to attacks
  4. Harvest add/remove fire mod for +1 all fire skill gems
  5. Remove crafted mods and re-craft suffixes cannot be changed
  6. 50/50 veiled exalt slam and hope for suffix
  7. If prefix, unveil and hope for life, if suffix craft vaal pact while focused and hope for +1 minimum frenzy or endurance
  8. Beast craft lvl 30 aspect of the spider
  9. Finish with bench craft, anoint, and catalyst

Does this look right?
