My own Pokemon Exe/Horror creation! CROWN OF THORNS.
So, the king in yellow is a being that knows all. However, if you know all, you'd have to have learned it all. So, this follows the early years of the king in yellow's existence. One day, the being later known as the Crown of Thorns is born into existence. The cosmos had aligned just right to be able to form a primitive consciousness, with its only desire being to consume knowledge and grow. It finds the first creature it can for a vessel, being a random wild Ferrothorn in this case, and takes over its body, absorbing its mind and knowledge. It takes on the mannerisms and traits of the Ferrothorn. As a consequence, it hides in caves, and more forested routes, waiting for a passerby late at night. It disguises itself as a regular ferrothorn. But... somethings off....The trainer, seeing a ferrothorn, naturally tries to catch it. However. As soon as they approach. The ferrothorn snaps. It breaks. It makes noises of gutteral, pained, deep voices screams. The grating sound of metal scraping against metal. Noises of cracking steel. It's eyes glaze over. They were never its true eyes to begin with. It grows in size. It carves it's own mouth into the center of its metal body, making its own horrific iron maw. And from the darkness within this newly formed mouth.... a yellow eye appears. It locks onto the trainer.In a flash, the trainer is grabbed, and dragged towards the creature, the being is sure to stare into the eyes of the trainer, disorienting them and making them see visions of incomprehensible sights. It making sure to crush the all of the trainers pokeballs, for there shall be no one to interrupt its feast. It's claws dig into the poor person, breaking bones, crushing organs, it could even rip them in half. It keeps the head intact however. That's the part it's after. It devours the trainer in a messy, violent feast. And absorbs the knowledge that the trainers mind contained.With the evidence taken care of, it slithers back to whatever dark hole it resides in. To wait for another night. For a true hunter, a truly knowledgeable being knows... patience is a virtue. So it lurks, and waits. Slowly building up its power and knowledge, expanding its horizons with every person or pokemon it eats. That's why it's advised to stay inside at night, for you never know.... what monsters lurk in the shadows.
And here we have our 2 protagonists. The friend of one of the missing persons, and the detective looking into the case. This will be quite a harmful venture. For they might have gotten themselves into something, that they can't get back out of...
So, my main Influences for creating this were The story of The King in Yellow (obviously) and various pokedex entries for the pokemon Ferrothorn! (It also helps that Ferrothorn is my favorite pokemon of all time) Not quite sure what I'm planning to do with this in future, but i am planning something along the lines of a comic, or game, or something that viewers can interact with.
