I love the mechanics of this game much more than standard pokemon games. However, some questions are unclair to me :
Whats the point of leveling your pokemon in the town ?
Also crafting potions in town, does it guarantee i will have access to it in adventure mode ?
any advices on a "simple" but good team I could build to defeat gym N°8 and elite four ?? (I am stuck at gym N°7 currently)

We got nearly all the Z-A mons in so now what's left? I guess there's that experimental mode, never got too deep into that yet. I hope we're able to find a way to track Unique Legendaries, that'd be fun.
So this is my last resort...
I've genuinely been trying to figure out how to repair my game for 5 hours now and I've reached a point where I just HAVE to ask. I'm extremely stubborn and I'm playing on hard mode, therefore I've been grinding like crazy to try to get into the late game. And today I was on discord with all of my friends and we were strategizing how to beat the champ and then boom.
Game ded.
I selected Leech Seed on my Prankster Whimsicott and suddenly the game freezes (except for the rain, the animation of which is still active) and I cannot make any inputs at all.
This run took HOURS and I wanna try to get it back.
I tried to mess with the memory data, with the debugging console etc., to no avail at all.
I am committed to keeping this run alive but I'm fully at my wit's end.
I never used save states while playing because I don't want to cheat, but when the game froze, I made a save state that unfortunately was only created after the game had already reached that state. And the .sav is functional, it just sends me back to the start, it's just the .ss1 file that has the run saved that I've been trying to fix.
Oh also my music sound is at 0%? Apparently this matters?
Is there anyone here smart enough to figure out what the error is and how to possibly fix it?
I'm somewhat tech-savvy but not enough for this sadly :(

Edit: I'm playing on mGBA and on version 'Emerald Rogue (v2.2.1-EX)'.
Hi all. I’ve been meaning to transfer my game (to and) from 44VBA -> RetroArch on iOS but RetroArch doesn’t recognize the savefile for some reason. It only shows the option of starting a new game, and the .4gs save files from 44VBA don’t work on RetroArch as far as I know.
Anyone that has transferred to RetroArch before that has come across this problem? How to fix it?
It's not a shiny Gyarados reward, nor the Gyaradosite... So what is it?
