So I know, as everyone here probably, if you beat all Kanto Gym Leaders, the Pokemon League rematch and Red on Mount Silver, Prof. Oak will give you one of the Kanto Starters to choose from. So far so normal. But to this day Im convinced, that in one of my play throughs from when I was a kid, maybe 8-10, I received a second Kanto Starter from Oak. It a was very progressed play through, caught every Legendarie, beat the League and Red more than one could count, pushed some Pokemons to Lv.100 etc. Everywhere I read, it says you can only get one Kanto Starter. But it is burned in my mind, that I got a second one. Maybe I remember it wrong, but I do vividly. I chose Bulbasaur first and then Charmander and was genuinly shocked I got the opportunity, so Im sure Im not remembering wrong. Has anyone else discovered this? Or am I tripping:D

Planning on doing some sort of storyline between the 4 games (Fire Red, Emerald, Platinum, Heartgold), but wondering what order people would recommend to play in.

I know if I was to match the anime it would be FR then HG, then Emerald and Platinum, but that would mean jumping back and fourth between gen 3/4 game mechanics

I’d like to move the Pokemon across after each game to use them in the Battle Frontiers, again similar to the anime

I also like the idea of my character having somewhat of a storyline, for example being from Kanto (Pallet Town), and eventually finishing in Kanto (with Heartgold)

Or they should provide an alternative

I'm trying to beat the Heart Gold Battle Frontier before Pokemon Bank closes next year. As such, getting the Life Orb from the Ruins of Alph would be a great way to increase my power output. Unfortunately, I sent my Ho-Oh up to Pokemon Home many years ago and even if you solve the Ruins of Alph puzzle, you need Ho-Oh in your party to access the Life Orb.

I do have a working Action Replay (sorry if mentioning Action Replays breaks a subreddit rule); is it possible to get the Life Orb by simply walking through the wall?

I think it's the mini game in goldenrod city, the voltrob flip mini game but it will take too much time, suggest me some more ways to get it fast or is the goldenrod city one the fastest?

In my Heart Gold game, I have a Ditto that is named メタモン, but I am not sure if this is trully Japanese that I can use for Masuda Method.

Wasn’t there a way to know if your pokemon is truly Foreign? Like the JPN symbol? Where can I find it?
