i completely understand that the darkness is part of the challenge, but i hate not knowing where i'm going. best i've found is the mr. walkthrough screenshots with a bigger light, but are there any full maps or ways to make my light bigger??

(btw im using a walkthrough bc i like playing rom hacks in particular to make my own pokedexes and fill my in-game one. categorising and organising is really fun for me)

Pokemon Lazarus: Hard Mode

Elite Four:

Grimmsnarl - Bubz (Short for Beelzebub): Prankster/Light Clay [252HP/252ATK/6DEF]

• Reflect
• Light Screen
• Sucker Punch
• Spirit Break

Bubz played the most important role, setting up defenses and switching so the heavy hitters can sweep with minimal damage. Sucker punch was way too good against psychic types.

Tsareena - Athena: Strong Legs/Amulet Coin [252ATK/252SPE/6DEF]

• Synthesis
• Trop Kick
• High Jump Kick
• Thunderous Kick

Athena did a valuable contribution in taking out a few mons. Strong legs boosted STAB trop kick does way too good damage while also cutting opp's ATK stat. And amulet coin because why not.

Kommo-o - Jackie: Rough Skin/Rocky Helmet [252ATK/252SPE/6DEF]

• Close Combat
• Dual Chop
• Dragon Dance
• Poison Jab

The heaviest physical hitter with ddance set up and bubz's defenses straight up swept opp mons in single hits. Dual chop was meh but I did not want to go for Outrage and poison jab for coverage against fairies.

Noctowl - Rio: Analytic*/*Noctowlite [252HP/252SPA/6SPD]

• Psychic
• Roost
• Bitter Malice
• Air Slash

My mega evo mon who's a very good special hitter with ridiculously good bulk especially combined with Bubz's defences. Analytics boosted moves do real good damage. Would've gone for Hurricane but can't get egg moves in this game.

Skeledirge - Dante: Unaware/Leftovers [252HP/252SPA/6DEF]

• Torch Song
• Shadow Ball
• Will-O-Wisp
• Snarl

My partner and a very good bulky special hitter. Torch spam made it a bit too easier and unaware was a life saver when the opp tries quiver dance or calm mind. Would've preferred Slack Off over Snarl but again that is an egg move.

Pikachu - Light: Static/Light Ball [252SPA/252SPE/6HP]

• Thunderbolt
• Nuzzle
• Nasty Plot
• Double Team

He did not get to fight like literally. He was there for moral support. Also if you haven't noticed he's shiny.

Overall a really great game with stunning aesthetics and awesome outfits. Love the overworld sprites and the balance changes made for Pokemon. The only thing that bugged me a bit is how only most Pokemon upto gen 6 got their own animations the rest were just generic. Other than that it's a great game and you should play it if you haven't.

Just finished Pokémon Lazarus and wow... what an incredible journey! 🌊✨

I finally managed to beat this game, and it was such a beautiful experience that gave me so many hours of pure joy! 🥹 The Pokémon designs, the music, the custom map, and the quests made this an incredibly amazing playthrough.

Here are a few things that I absolutely loved:

• The Quest System: Exploring the individual maps and doing the catching quests for the students was incredibly motivating. The early, frequent rewards from the Professor for catching a certain amount of Pokémon also felt super rewarding! 🎒📊
• Gyms & The Elite Four: The Gyms were really interestingly designed. I have to admit that neither the Gym Leaders, the Elite Four, nor the Champion really stuck with me, but that’s totally fine. I still found the concept of the Muses very charming! 🏛️🎨
• The World Design: The underwater world was crafted with so much love and was so much better and more beautiful than in the original Emerald version. Also, the mining minigame was an absolute blast! 💎⛏️

A small critique: The antagonists didn't quite hit the mark I was initially anticipating based on their appearance. It turned out to be less "occult cult" and more just pure capitalism—but hey, I guess that’s also a valid motivation for evil deeds! 😂💰

Overall Verdict: I am absolutely thrilled with this game. I really hope I won't have to wait too long until another ROM hack captures my imagination like this one did again! 🌟 Heartfelt thanks to Nemo622 🙌

After 4 months of resets, I can now start my adventure :)

Loved this team. Had only used Infernape and Garchomp before (but never mega Garchomp). Hate that it says Difficult/Vanilla because I switched to Vanilla just to see but best all gyms, bosses and E4 on difficult.

It was a perfect game for me. I LOVE the custom megas. I never got bored of it. I love it, i give it a 10.

Greninja - My starter, absolutely goated with Loaded Dice+Water Shuriken, and Ice Beam

Silvally - My favorite Gen 7 pokemon, absolutely useful with its flexibility with adapting to all types

Tinkaton - My mega, absolutely overpowered, cleared %65 of the Elite Four alone.

Skeledirge - Got it from Wishing Well. Absolute fire beast if you ask me with Torch Song.

Kommo-o - Got it from late-game, both a Dragon and Fighting Type, did a really good job, respect.

Krookodile - My goated Ground type, really earned its place from the start of the game.

Played blind, hardcore rules. Boy did a lose a lot of good ones for stupid reasons. Really liked my final team though. Grimbles the Scrafty was my unexpected carry, most late-gate fights were won with Boffo the Floatzel Shedding some Tail into a Swords Dance or two. Moxie boosts and then Mega evo for the swag.

Such a great game. Some of the most fun I've had playing Pokemon. Forgot about First Impression and lost Raichu to Mega Falinks during E4, but everyone else survived. Some new favorites made for sure. I see the magic of Nuzlockes.

After 40 house, i got this. First, It sayed that my files was corrupted, a previous save Will be loaded. Ok, tried to save again, the game wont save anymore (Stuck on the screen with the 1 minute timer advise).

Restarted the game and BAM, got this.

Am I totally screwed?
