Full National Living Dex!

Started this journey late Feb and stopped for abit after realizing I'd have to play x/y 3 times for the legendary birds and waiting for certain mirage islands to spawn but glad it's finally over!

To get everything I could I did 2x playthroughs of sapphire 1x playthrough of ruby and 2x playthroughs of x and 1x playthrough of y

the unobtainable legendaries like jirachi, celebi, hoopa etc were event pokemon injected from pksm and besides them everything else was caught/bred/encountered legitly.

All in all this journey has made me hate the Kanto birds because of how tedious they were to get aha thank you for reading my novel.

I just beat oras for the first time!

I was pretty underleveled for Steven and he was by far the hardest fight for me and it wasnt even close (I hadn't died to anyone before him but then died 4 times to him) but im proud I beat him with this team! Planning on playing ultra moon next

What ever happened to the Pokémon in the GTS?

I know I’m super late asking this but I’m in the middle of a “week long retro gaming phase” and while running through Pokémon x, I thought about the “good old days” with online play. I didn’t have any Pokémon in the GTS when servers went down but now I wonder, where did your Pokémon go after GTS ended? Like are they still in there just locked away for eternity? Or did they get returned?

I guess it's my turn to post this

Other than Sceptile and Linoone, I haven't actually used any of these in a game before. Probopass outperformed my expectations, he's an absolute unit and has a great move pool to choose from, Azumarill and Slaking met them in terms of performance but they were more fun than i thought they'd be going in, and Altaria was good but I don't think I'll use it again. All things considered, Probopass is in the running for my second favourite pokemon now. He just eats every attack, even fighting type, and volt switching into Slaking always felt amazing.

MY GEN 1-6 HEAVIES

Took forever but I finally did it…got each Pokemon to represent a different gen from 1-6 in omega ruby. After years of playing the games and watching the series, certain Pokemon always stood out to me. So I decided to put them all together for a champions league run. Yes I also know not all of these Pokemon are the best choice representing each gen, most people will say an ICE/Water team is my worst nightmare, however like I said it’s the Pokemon that stood out to me the most throughout my journey. This was indeed fun and I will be doing it again prolly a gen 1-6 dragon team.

Finished the ORAS living dex [52 Hours]

I've played through ORAS multiple times so luckily I had save files to get the Omega Ruby version exclusives without replaying the game again.

The last one surprisingly was Lileep (for the living dex) and Cradily for the Pokedex (since I had to breed)

First time completing.. here's my team! Thoughts?

Disclaimer: Gigi (Skitty) was not a natty. She was heavily juiced up on protein and actually had a viable attack stat...

Lil sis finally completed the national dex

This is a true proud bro moment, and it's way more impressive than my achievements, I've never been a Pokedex guy 😅

She started last year, and after a lot of hours spent on the game and trading from my copy of Omega ruby to her alpha Sapphire for the exclusives, and injecting past mystery gifts for the unobtainable pokemon she's finally completed a national dex and I think it deserves a post of appreciation

It's time to retire Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.

When I’ve finally played a game enough times it takes to use every Pokemon, I retire that game. Of course, it still has a place in my collection.

I first bought Pokemon Alpha Sapphire when it came out in 2014. I had played Ruby and Sapphire, but they had been kind of "Meh" for me. However, ORAS changed my mind about Hoenn. I loved the expanded roles that Teams Magma and Aqua played. I loved the graphics. I loved that it was easier than the originals (LOL). I loved running around and spending time in nature, planting and watering berries, fishing, talking to NPCs. I loved the music; Route 120's theme remains one of my all-time favorite route themes, and the games themselves remain some of my all-time favorite Pokemon games.

This game has meant so much to me over the years. To quote Zinnia's grandmother, "Now is the time for rest."
