newish to the community here and finally got a brick hammer so ive been playing a ton of roms and loving it, but i was curious if there is a rom hack of soul silver/heart gold that allows all mons to be caught/not need to trade for evolutions? i know this is something addressed in many of the gba roms, but wasnt sure if there was a ds hack?

Yeah so the title kinda says it all. I'm a completionist and looking for games I could complete in their entirety on one save file. It's mostly the Pokédex that's a concern, since you usually can't get all the starters even in post game... Oh and I would rather not have different endings if possible ? Since I obviously can't get all of them on the same save. I also prefer games with endgame/side content, preferably with clear milestones such as the battle frontier emblems or contest ribbons. I'm doing this for YouTube (don't have a channel yet but it's being set up) so those really help in having clear rules and goals for the challenge. Thanks !

I want to try something new and am looking for some recommendations from the community. I’m preferring a GBA or NDS hack. I genuinely like these generations mechanics so I’d rather avoid major structural change (fakemon, new types, etc.), however I love QOL hacks! I am also too casual to be grinding on difficulty hacks. i am looking for something refreshing that can either tie together stories I already know from those 4 regions, rewrite them or come up with an original story. I can’t wait to hear your recommendations! also kinda peeved they won’t accept recommendation posts in the main sub.

Hey everyone, as the title says, I’d like to know how you tend to play romhacks. When I was younger, I used an emulator on my PC, but now I’m considering getting a handheld device.

The thing with handheld devices is that you usually need to patch the ROM on your PC and then transfer it using a microSD card. Are there any more efficient ways to play?

Also, are there any ways to keep track of what you’ve played and your percentage of completion? And could you please suggest some sources to check for new releases?
