Yesterday I scored on a walgreens tin for $20 now I got this. No good pulls yet
I feel like it is too valuable to ship to grading services. I don’t trust auction houses like Goldin after everything that’s been posted about them. Any advice one what to do would be helpful
The voices are getting louder
These machines are all on a black screen until this guy and his team go around right before closing and clear out the machines (his words while being on the phone with various people) I understand we take a gamble but being able to glitch it seems like you take the whole fun out of the game in my opinion while he’s just reselling all of it (again his words while on the phone). I was also told by staff that this particular guys is the one coming out at night clearing the machines.
After all I have my own costs too. I paid entry to the card show, I had to pay for fuel to travel, maybe get accommodation depending on the location and prestige of the event. I'm suffering a huge opportunity cost by not working today and deciding to go to this card show, so I have to make sure I factor that in as well. Of course I have to eat, so there's a good bill attached. And let's not forget the tax we all have to pay whenever we make these transactions (lmao this one always gets me, what vendor is paying tax)
I'm also taking on a lot of risk when I buy from vendors. I mean I could be holding their card for months and during that time it could depreciate and I could get stung holding the bags. If a card falls in value then I'm out of pocket, not the vendor. I could have waited and bought 2 cards instead of 1. That's a lot of risk to be onboarding. In fact the vendors should really be grateful that I'm helping them out this way. I mean at the end of the day, without customers taking the time and effort to come to card shows and take the tedious time to sort through a vendors binder and look over their inventory for damaged cards etc. without us doing this they'd have no business to run.
Sure us Charizard collectors are a vendors bread and butter, we help them move cards quickly and easily and keep them in business. But without those faithful Goldeen collectors and the like, vendors would be swimming underwater. Without us niche collectors they'd have to actually hold their cards for more than a month! It's quite scary when you think about it for more than 5 seconds! We really are doing them a great service.
So really the way I see it, it's perfectly logical to only buy from vendors at 70% and not a penny more.

I purchased this in a lot with other sealed product (ETBs and/or booster bundles I believe). Didn’t inspect like I should have until I got home. Seal is loose on both sides, one side quite loose. There are small holes in the plastic itself for venting I believe. Seller swears it was not resealed. I have no concerns about anything else in his lot. Has this been resealed or are there products like this out there? Thanks.
I came across my local vending machine that appears to have been glitched. It had 2 bundles of PB and packs from multiple releases (ME, CR, DR, PB, PO, JT). I don’t resell and everything we get is for my kids and I to rip over the following months.
There were only those 2 bundles and a handful of Mega Evolution packs. All the other five may have had over 20 packs or so each. No one was standing behind me and I didn’t see any kids walk up hoping for something.
What would you have grabbed in my situation?
Edit: I have a pretty decent stash that we will rip over time, but it was getting sorta low as vending machines got harder to hit.
They seem to be sitting for quite a while when I see them in stores, but I personally prefer buying them to booster bundles because of the Perfect Order packs (ironically, I felt the same about the Phantasmal packs in the Mega Zygarde boxes).
Anyone else still happy to rip these, or are people moving on to other sets/product completely?
Are these worth anything, my brother and I ripped 50 packs for his birthday and these were the hits
I recently got my cards back from Pokémon Support after far over 900 days. The cards included this Tauboss ex 225/197 and my Glurak ex 228/197. They were originally sent in because of factory damage.
After more than 2.5 years, I finally got them back, along with 3 booster packs since replacements were no longer available.
Honestly, I’m just really happy to have my cards back after all this time.
I already knew the Tauboss was extremely off-center, but seeing it again after all these years made me appreciate just how crazy it actually looks.
Personally, I think it looks awesome. 😂
I’m not really interested in whether it would get a PSA 10 or anything like that. I’m more curious about the collectibility of an error like this.
Would you guys consider this a card worth keeping specifically because of the extreme centering?
Is this something error-card collectors actually look for, or is it still “just” a badly centered card?

I'm looking to get this Paldea Evolved booster box from a seller but I can't help notice the loose seal especially on the top of the box. Also the bottom of the box seems to have some letters faded away (4th pic) and the box has some dents.

Was having a sad day, I stoped by to say hi to my mom and and as soon as she opened the door I saw it on her face, her sister had just passed away, I was very close to my aunt and had visited her and family two weeks earlier, she had cancer, I wanted to hug her one last time. I hugged my mom and grieved with her for a while. Then I had a fight with my wife and received a message of a restock at Sanborns, made the stop and bought 3 Lumios city tins.
Now at home asked daughter to choose a tin to rip. She had first dibs and picked the perfect order booster pack for nada, my turn was the chaos, peeked and thought I saw nothing, before the hit I got the goodra reverse holo rare and then bam got our chase!
I did make amends with my wife before the rip and she was the one that gave me a ride to buy the tins.
Still grieving but had a beautiful moment with my daughter at the end of the day.
I stopped by a 7-11 to grab a drink and I noticed they had Pokémon packs for sale. I have seen those fake Chinese booster packs and know what they look like and these & these don’t look like them.
It looks like these were printed in Japan.
Trying to try out suppliers with imported products but testing before I commit to anything crazy. Look at photos and let me know what you think. I think they are real boxes but resealed product.
