Hey all! Just wondering if you’d be willing to share any Discord/WhatsApp groups or other info you might have for Pokémon stock in Ireland, and maybe any good places or people for buying singles too?

My six-year-old nephew is just getting into Pokémon now, and I’ve got a collection myself that we have been going through. We’ve actually just sent off a few cards for grading, including two Mewtubes, so we’re very excited to see how they get on.

What did everyone buy at the card show today in royal marine?

I am working on master setting Pitch Black and Chaos Rising. I just got the mega darkrai SIR, and I while I want it in my binder, I don’t want it out of a rigid toploader!

I know there are toploader binders, but then I would need every card in a toploader!

Any suggestions? I might print out a high quality placeholder card for the ones I have and don’t want to put in the binder. I’m also considering getting the darkrai graded as it is in great condition and the centering is perfect.

New to collecting Pokemon! I’ve been scrolling down and seen they brought cards out a few weeks back. Was just wondering if there is a set date they re release the cards or do they just come out whenever? Also I know sports direct Smyths seasons etc what other shops in around Galway would possibly have any?

I wanted to ask, with grading, is PSA the only way to go? I see theres Beckettes as well. Do different companies affect the resell price?

Has anyone used Irish Cosmic Grading?

Also, any tips on second hand sealed ETBs? Trustworthy? Whats this I keep hearing online about "resealed" is that an actual thing resellers do?

Is it worth even buying loose boosters anymore? I bought some recently at an event and my friend and I strongly suspected they had already been opened and then resealed (they were only barely closed).

I'm looking to buy loose japanese boosters online (different vendor) but I'm aware people weigh them and stuff and might be just selling the dud packs.

I'm never gonna buy a full booster box but is it even worth it buying packs?
