Recommendations??

So I’m fairly new to pokemon, I’ve played arceus, Za, and pokopia (and like red I think when I was like 9)and I’ve finished them and want to play more main line game. I personally didn’t like arceus but LOVED Za. Help a brother out😩

How long into the game before you can access home?

I wanna send 2/3 starters to home so I can send them back when I choose the 3rd but didn’t know if it’d be faster just to trade

Special Scans Log

I'm finally free from Special Scan Hell. Here's my log of my special scans until I got all the legendaries.

I stole the format from r/Adam0n because I found the formatting of his own log really intuitive. Thank you dude.

From what I've seen, I got really lucky with the Battle Zones, and the game had mercy giving me the last 2 legends back-to-back.

I never want to see a fossil Pokémon again lol

Shiny Latios at last

Dont give me that confused look you.

I've been unable to make progress for weeks now because of your rarity. But now I am free!

Also once more, proof that that the elevator reset method works... eventually.

Playthrough without Megas

How much of a disadvantage am I in for against rogue megas if I rely on + moves and not mega evos? I want to change up my team but feel very limited by what I can get a megastone for

2nd Best Pokemon Game on Switch

After Scarlet/Violet, this is it. Better than Arceus and I have over 275 hours in PLA. I don’t dislike Arceus, it’s just that Z-A is better for me. I love the day night cycle, it keeps the game fresh and I end up losing sight of my main goal, in a good way. I’m always shopping, searching, finding, seeking, selling, buying, training, leveling up, trading through with randos on Reddit. Shiny hunting, making donuts, grinding. I love grindy games. Love them.

After playing Z-A, I can’t go back to PLA and catch the same Pokemon numerous times. It feels outdated. I got my switch 2 on Christmas and I play Z-A 3-4 hours every single night since then, it’s a great game.

The dialogue may have been long and dragged out but I looked at it as if I were watching/ reading the anime and I laughed many times throughout the dialogue.

I know I’ll get lots of conflicting perspectives but this game is the Pokemon game for me and I am a Gen 1er. I own a game from every Gen and this is my pride and joy. Love this game.

Shiny Latios done!

This has easily taken me the longest so far but I’m just glad I got both shiny Latios and Latias now. This was a full powered shiny physical donut so I was hunting at full odds but it just felt like it wasn’t working at points until finally I saw it and had to do a double take to make sure I wasn’t seeing things😭 got it in a friend ball after a few attempts too which was nice. Halfway there with all shiny legendaries

By defending you would the boss be pleased or angry?

That’s what Philippe asked, and I immediately thought that’s a good question! What do you think?

I think Corbeau would be so pissed! 😂

Trying to get a sceptile

I don’t have the dlc and am currently a c rank. I only have raichu to counter water types so I want a good grass type like sceptile but can’t manage to find a way to get one without the dlc. Does anyone have any tips for me? Thank you all.

Is it spawning an despawning?

Im a shiny hunter at hearth and after a 3 month break im returning, I hunted shiny dratini like walking it to spawn and despawn.. so that the camera could do it too is news for me, or am I just tripping?

Or did I discover a niche thing to hunt a shiny ^^

SHINY ALPHA HONEDGE WITH BEAST BALL!

Literally fast tracked maybe 15 times(?) before just walking around the corner to see a shiny ALPHA Honedge! Just got some beast balls for the first time too so was a perfect opportunity to use them. Didn’t even have a shiny boost just an alpha boost on my donut so that was honestly crazy😭

This game is just insane for shinies I can’t lie

What is there to do after you've complete the main story (and the dlc) in legends za

I’m trying to bring some Pokémon into Pokémon Champions, but I want to level them up to 100 first. I know it’s not necessary, but it’s something I’d like to do. The problem is, I’m struggling to stay motivated because there’s so little content left. I’ve been grinding the Infinite Royale, but unlike in Legends: Arceus, it doesn’t get noticeably more challenging as you progress, so I’m starting to get bored.

I was wondering what other players do to keep the game feeling fresh. I use Pokémon cards to randomly determine my team, so the game is still quite difficult for me. My main issue is that it feels repetitive. In Legends: Arceus, training up a Pokémon felt rewarding because releasing it gave you useful items to help build your team. Other than shiny hunting, I’m struggling to find any engaging repetitive activities here.
