Growing up I loved Pokémon Ranger and I loved how unique the primary gameplay mechanic of the series was. It's a shame nobody brought a similar mechanic to modern audiences on a big scale so here I am. I wanted to share the gameplay trailer I made to see if anyone is in interested in what I have going on :^) Enjoy.

Bought pokemon ranger a few years ago and only learned today about the manaphy. How do I check to see if it has been claimed on an old file?
I'm aware that it's trivial to inject saves with tools/modded consoles and do it that way, but I'm trying to avoid glitches/exploits/unofficial tools.
I was hoping to do this one day to get Deoxys, Darkrai & Shaymin for Gens 4-7, but now that Pokemon Bank's closure is imminent, I'd like to know for sure if this is even feasible/worth attempting.
Since there was a limited window to download the missions, I'm suspecting the best option is to find a listing for used copies that happened to download the missions at the time, and also haven't transferred those mission's Pokemon yet. It's a tall ask but I'm sure it's possible, just need advice on how to best search for these.

So, last year for Christmas, I received pre-owned copies of all three Pokémon Ranger games, as I played through all of them as a child, but eventually lost a hold of them. Earlier this week, (8th of August, 2026), I began playing through the very first game in the series, and the first thing I noticed after booting up my original DS and launching the game was that the previous owner of the game was only rank 8, and had not left jungle relic. After starting a new game, and playing through to the end credits, I unlocked Ranger Net, and low and behold, putting in the button imputs to unlock code entry, and typing the code for the NA releases, I unlocked the Manaphy Egg Quest. I’m completely blown away by the impossible luck of this find.
Hi I'm trying to 100% S rank every Ranger game and I was wondering is there a way to get an S rank for Pichu later on? And is the Ukelele Pichu considered a different entry on the browser from the average Pichu?
Because I might have tried like over 20 times and I still can't get an S rank on the first capture of this Pichu.
I downloaded the extra missions through the tools suggested and played them. I managed to capture all six Pokemon in the missions with a Rank S, so at least I have that completed. However, I am worried if that was really my only chance to get them with that rank and I lucked it out. If I give the same missions to my sister, she might fail the Rank S captures. So is it possible to replay the missions to try for a Rank S capture a second time? It does not matter if you can only transfer 1 Pokemon, that is totally fine (we are not transferring anything anyway).
I am a fan of the first Pokemon Ranger. Despite it being difficult, I love it. Currently, I am doing the trials. I actually captured Flygon first in the trial. It took like seven tries. It was tough on my phone. I was so happy that I documented it. It was cool to learn the colors on based on the order you beat the trials. Also, I think the first one got me in the series. Since my Shadows of Almia was lost and the Jaiden video I forgot about (not out of boredom; my memory is not the best), I am glad to experience this.
English is not my first language so If something is unclear I will try to clarify in the comments. 2 years ago in Portugal I bought a second hand Pokémon Ranger game to play on my 2ds. I’m not looking for a copy with the manaphy egg, I just want to play the game. On the box it‘s written that you can play the game in 5 different languages, including English. When I opened the game for the first time I was surprised because the language was set to Spanish. My console’s language is set to English so I thought I need to reset the game. In Pokemon games you can usually reset the game by holding some combination of buttons but nothing seems to work. I know that there’s a new game option in the starting screen but when I click it I get the starting character selector still in Spanish. Can someone please tell me how to delete the save file?
